Hello everyone! I picked up Rift out of impulse while browsing in Future Shop last saturday, and I'm thoroughly enjoying the game so far. Prior to Rift I had done endgame raiding in WotLK, dabbled around with lotro and EQ2, and indulged in GW. I decided I'd try something completely different while playing this and rolled a rogue, I'm reveling in the experience. Currenly, I'm level 20, and just running around Freemarch closing rifts. I love the camaraderie of closing the rifts with a large group of people at such a low level.

Hopefully I'll get to play with some of you guys soon!

Hello All,

Picked up this game after reading several reviews. Started playing MMOs with original EQ and then played WoW since launch. Got burned out when Cata hit, so I quit gaming for a while. Started back with Rift. Was an end game healer in WoW in BC, WotLK, and Cata. Rolled a cleric on a high pop server, but couldn't stand the queues. Rolled a cleric on this server Guardian side, and so far enjoying the community! If you need a healer, my character's name is William level 25. I am usually playing in the evening any given day.

I'm Ray from TX, "Rayray" is my warrior on Threesprings. I am a noob to RIFT this is my first character but so far its pretty freakin sweet its fun as hell. I played a little WOW and alot of EverquestOA some years ago and I got burnt out on WOW and nobody played EOA for ps2 anymore so I am glad that it is kind of similar to those games but has some other cool sh!t.

Been playing MMOs forever. Started with Ultima in 97 and played it forever (I still think its the best game ever). Also played EQ and still have an active wow account.

Into PVP and and PVE and will be shopping for a guild here soon.

My toon is actually Dayln, a Cleric, a name from the days of D&D before recorded history when it came as 3 beige pamphlets in a white box

I started playing MMO's in the very early days before graphics, Gemstone 3 on the Genie network ( before AOL ) when it cost $6 a hour to play... those were some serious gamers in those days.

Then I got lazy and stopped beta tests
Played EQ2, SWG, WOW, LOTRO and at least half a dozen more ( only mentioned ones I played for more than a couple of months )

None kept my interest for more than a year with the exception of LOTRO which I still consider one of the best MMO's to date and is the only other MMO I still have a current subscription to.

Heard very little about Rift, just sort of tried it out of the blue a few weekends ago.... and my wife and I are enjoying it very much.

In fact last night my wife came home and said lets go on line, I am feeling guilty, who knows how many Rifts have gone unabated since we logged off yesterday.

Also loved your note about 6$ to play games I remember playing MUDS Cosrin on AOL was expensive and played another MUD also called Darkness Falls I think it was. Good ol days!

Greatings...im Okatana....3spec claric....co-founder of "ForsakenOnes" guild on threesprings and a master Armorsmith.....i run an aoe heal spec for rifts..and a single target with overflow for my single heal spec..and i have a solo pve/pvp spec thats damn good..lol...ive healed expert rifts since i was lvl40 and just about anything else you can throw my way..if ya need a healer...look me up..im allways looking for something to do!

I'm still new to the game, so I'm not UTD with all the lingo yet, but she's a Mage Elementalist.

I started out playing WoW, then I joined the Army and didn't have much time/good enough of an internet connection to continue playing.
Now I'm out and raising a recently turned 1 year old while my husband is deployed. I was missing WoW, but had read about RIFT a few months ago so I thought I would give it a try.

So far I'm really happy with the game, mostly just learning and getting a feel for it. I'm hoping to convert my husband over to play with once he gets back from his tour.

Hello. My main toon so far is a mage named Ardai. I say so far because I have severe altitis. I have been playing this game for less than a week and already have 4 toons. My wife and I met years ago while playing Guild Wars, moved on to City of Heroes/Villians, WoW (for a very short time) then Aion. We dabbled in a few others along the way. Last week we got bored with Aion, which we have played since closed betas, and while she decided to take a break until Tera and Guild Wars 2, I came to Rift. I am a casual player who plays about 10 - 15 hours a week, might PvP every once in a blue moon if the hormones are flowing just so, and am trying to get my wife to change her mind cause it just aint the same when I am trying to fight off an invasion while she Cityvilles. Any guild out there got any openings?

Hey, name is Habloc. I'm a level 30 Guardian Cleric. Just recently came to Rift, my first 30 days are almost up and I'm enjoying it so far. My souls are shaman/justicar/druid at the moment and my points are leaning on the DPS side of clerics. I'm looking for a guild to hang with during the weekdays as the current guild I'm in is always on during late hours or on the weekends when I'm at work.

My experience with MMOs has had its up and downs. Started with UO, EQ, DAoC, EQ2, Lineage 2, SWG, WoW, AoC, LoTR and now Rift.

Hello Everyone, my name is Alxander and I am a Level 50 Kelari Rogue (Defiant) and Associate Guild Leader of <Department of Rift Corrections> aka <DoRC>.

I am new to this shard as of this past Saturday, originally Xane from Belmont (whoever has that name on this shard, you are forever mine enemy!), but I have been playing Rift since Beta event 5 I think, maybe 6.

I have previously played Dark Age of Camelot (my first MMO), Final Fantasy XI, Vanguard, World of Warcraft (very briefly during WotLK) and Wizard101 (don't knock it, it's a fun game).

I came to Rift because I had been looking forward to a new AAA game and the idea of the dynamic content really excited me. I have to say, I am NOT disappointed, I think the rift events (world, zone and just plain random rifts) are like my most favorite thing in the world and I love jumping into the nearest public group and kicking some serious planar ***.

I have a crafting alt, Daeny (formerly Tarth, and whoever has that name, I kinda dislike you) and I plan on leveling a gathering alt (I'm a touch obsessed with crafting.) I'm actually not that well versed on end game content, I have only done a few Experts and the first boss in Greenscale a couple of times, but I'm trying to learn.

I'm currently in charge of building up our guild's membership as we try to be a casual guild which I have hereby dubbed a Rifting Guild (the concept being doing the events unique to RIFT, mainly I was trying to be clever). We're a very sociable, cool set of people so far and I hope to gain more.

My current obsessions are the new world event currency and being able to buy all the items I want, and Twisted Artifact sets.

Name is Sorrowbane and I moved here for Silkweb. It was a terrific server until they opened the floodgates of transfers to an already high pop shard and the quality took a nose dive. I am thoroughly enjoying Threesprings so far and have met lots of friendly and laid back people.

I play a mage with a 51 pt archon spec, 51 chloro, and a Pyro/elem spec... love my mage! ALways around to run T2s or raid pugs. Haven't joined a guild yet and not sure when I will be truly settled down to look for one.

Quick background... only MMO before this was WOW since release. Years of raiding and rehashed content took it's toll on me personally. This was a great transition away from it and I look forward to Rift's continuing success!
