Hello,
We're still light on zone events. But if we coordinate our efforts via chat, we can do better. I've seen an increase in characters who names don't quit following the rules on naming convention - which doesn't necessarily mean they are any less serious about good gameplay. (I'm just predisposed to think that way.) After 2am pacific it's very quiet. And I have no idea about the day times.
I love this shard!

Pretty much dead during the days. I have a feeling this shard will die, albeit slowly.

And yet another tolling of our death knell...
No worries. We have new folks all the time. We cultivate our community, little bits at a time.
Silkweb is dead. Long Live Silkweb.

Trolling? Not at all. That is my opinion. I've been on Silkweb for a long time, and yes we are still getting new people. But my sense is that the rate of people leaving for other servers (or quitting) vs the transfers from other servers plus new players who stay and play up to 50 leaves Silkweb in a definite decline. I have a lot of friends here, pretty much all in the same guild. A guild that seems to be a majority of the Defiant side. There are some nice benefits to a low pop server, but some negatives as well.
I'm not leaving yet, but I see it coming.
I wonder how low population on a shard needs to get before it gets closed?
