Dear Rift/Trion please don't mess with Faeblight

Belmont was my starting shard and I loved it. Despite being popular enough to become a permanent shard you made it a trial shard and in your infinate wisdom shut it down. I was almost in tears when I logged unto my toon and found an empty shard- not a pretty site.

After jumping around many popular shards (checking player populations at different times of day) I was very disappointed- most players ignore you, even when you pst them or even join their guild! I found Faeblight one week ago and love it. It is the most comfortable shard since leaving Belmont. Although part of the same battle group doing WF's/IA/simple dungeons in Faeblight has just been a more enjoyable process. All my 50+ toons (6) have been moved to it.

For some reason all the other pve-rp shards have been closed and I'm afraid you will be tempted to close Faeblight too. Please, please, please keep Faeblight just as it is. RPer or not, I have found my new home and want it to last and not have to move again. I'll even renew my sub for another 12 months if that is what it takes.

It would be suicide for Trion to shut down Faeblight. Honestly if the day ever comes where they ARE seriously considering shutting down the shard it will be because the game is on its deathbed. Safe to say this (I believe) is the most active NA shard available.

Faeblight isn't going anywhere. Gaiscioch won't be transferring from this server. So if Trion tries to close us down their saying goodbye to one of their largest supporters. We began on Faeblight the very first day of beta. And we will be here till the last day.

This is our home, and one of the most active servers in RIFT. Plus we have the most active server community around.

I have not read or heard any rumors that Faeblight is closing. It was my (own) fear, after Belmont was closed, that Rift could do the same to this shard.

Trion has been acting "weird", imo, with allowing Twinks......but that was addressed in a different post.

Point is Faeblight is a great shard with some of the friendliest players I have met in the game. Don't know why but in doing WF (my main focus) even the healers and DPS are the best I've seen so far. Not to infer that the other shards are bad, rather my idea of rifting and the player population match very well- good chemistry.

I agree with everyone. Faeblight is truly the best shard. We have the most active population, best battlegroup and with Av and Exposure holding their own against the their top guilds, we also have a competitive raid force. It would be an extremely bad idea to shut down a shard that has been doing wonderfully since beta.

As someone who no longer calls Faeblight their home, I just have to say you don't need to worry. Faeblight is perfectly safe, and not going anywhere. In fact, I'd say it is one of the most active shards left, and aside from a few bad apples, has the best community of any shard that I've found so far.

Faeblight will be here till the very end.
