Eager Defiant looking for immersive RP
I only started playing RIFT about a week ago, but I'm so excited to see a game that puts the RP back in MMORPG. I have both RP and MMO experience,and pride myself on creating unique, in depth characters. However, I have only started playing and my level is well..low. I'm hoping to get a few leads on RP heavy guilds that don't mind taking in newer players.
And to whoever agrees, you won't regret it!

You may want to look at Academia, Magitech, The Black Sun, and Royal Black Watch.
If you hop over one more thread to the Defiant Guilds section, you'll see lists of guild recruitment posts. Feel free to browse them and check out the websites of the ones that catch your interest. That's how I found my guild (just joined Magitech).
If you're looking for a friendly RP atmosphere, I can definitely recommend Magitech. I'm experienced with pen-and-paper RP but new to MMO RP, and that wasn't a problem. They're very active and the officers take great interest in driving guild RP story lines. There are at least five heavy RP-immersive guilds that I know of, but you can probably find more in the Defiant Guilds thread.
Academia is holding a RP session on Thursday around 9 PM EST. I don't know much about them yet but if I get back from work in time I'll check them out. I don't know the location of the event but I asked the question in their thread at:
