lol, yeah, most folks on Guardian side seem pretty cool. I haven't played Defiant, so I can't speak for them. Even when our server is Full, I think my longest wait has been 30 min. That's when I snap on the TV and see what's on while I wait....and most of the folks seem like good sheets. Me likey too.

I've gotten a few "fulls", but not too bad...usually on Sunday afternoon est so far. Not complaining though....full is a good sign (unless it is always fulll every time you want to play! hehe).

Yeah I get queues randomly every now and again - but not that often.
Here there seems to be a good balance of guilds that are trying to push the edge of content that can drive each other to do things even faster than they would on their own.
All in all there are certainly worse places to be playing.

Yeah, people here are nice. It's almost creepy. I'm used to most servers being a reflection of the internet in general (full of attention seekers and trolls) but after a few hours of listening to helpful advice in 1-9 chat (defiant) I'm basically stunned.
That same channel on my other (queued to heck and back) server is a constant stream of nonsense, trolling and baseless insults.
I'm impressed. ^_^
Those of us who frequently help in Defiant Level 1-9 generally try to keep the good information flowing.

I've only meet one player who was a jerk. I tried to help him kill a mob after he looked like he was about to die, and he typed 2 sentences filled with swearing. In one sentence he could have said Don't help rather, than being rude. Guess he doesn't like a Guardian helping him. Other than that kid everyone on the Shard seems pretty nice.

Yeah that is odd. Usually I've had friendly people help me out when they think I'm stuck - or vice versa. Almost like holding the door for someone and saying "after you". Every once in a while you'll get some jerk who will yell "I can hold my own *bleep* door!!" and storm in. Gotta laugh though, it's pretty funny when they get so uptight you're being nice
All in all this server is awesome. I've played on it since Beta and I'm glad they kept it. The wait time is great, haven't run into a lot of glitches/issues (I think 1 glitch, 0 lag, etc). Love me my Byriel!

Went to do the moonshade puzzle with a guildmate. Was 3 other guardians there, so we started doing it together... in that way.
A defiant shows up and one of the other guardians says, 'f*** you defiant!'
The other says, 'YOU HAVE DEFILED OUR GODS'
I dunno what the RP servers are, but this isn't one of them. I also didn't realize they started adding paint chips to Wheeties.
We just couldn't stick around to help those guys, so we ported without a word. I do not get the animosity against the other side. It's a game, not some sectarian war.
Another incident, a defiant attacked someone during an invasion boss fight accidentally, outnumbered by a large amount. He said sorry and people continued with the boss. The end. Not everyone is a turd hehe.
Totally have to agree here, I think this is one of the best servers as well. Got a friend who plays on an other server and half the time all I hear are horror stories of people acting like jerks on his shard. I won't say that this server doesn't have any jerks on it, ran into a few already, but for the most part everyone here seems like a really nice, mature crowd.
So lets keep it this way,

But more than anything else this post is what pushed me over the edge to make the purchase and begin my journey through Telara!
