for 3 days now it's very hard to find guardians for daily. when they do come it's about 10 of them and then they leave.
this server used to be awesome with many guardians roaming about in solo or small grps.

well the pvp in this game is about as interesting as watching paint dry. i think most pvp guilds simply quit until something that is good comes out.
could be gw2, wh40k dark millenium, swtor i really dont know (although from reading gw2 seems to be going towards what i want).
although being fair i didnt think it would be great pvp in this game, just something to do for a short while.
and yeah as Reaping said far too many guilds went the pve route to gain gear. Rift really messed up on that design

I think this is a brilliant explanation of why there is a lack of Guardians but a similar number of Defiants out PVPing (or at least a reasonable number).

Nothing entirely to do with guardians doing hammerknell.
More to do with the obscene disparity in the server population :O
While I understand Def's despair in zerging up 10 people to kill 2 guardians because there simply aren't enough people to get your daily done, that's not going to attract more guardians to come out and play when they know they're just going to be outnumbered 1:5
Personally the majority of days I'll just do the dailies extremely early or extremely late to avoid having to play against triple the numbers. And then defiants complain why there's no one to play with ^_^

And as a result, Guardians start ganking and griefing in lower level areas. No high level Defiant ever comes there anyway unless it's an artifact farmer.
Only Guardians that suck, use the red= dead excuse to kill lowbies.
A true pvp player wont gank lowbies, he looks for a challenge.
1v1, 2v1 even 3v1, more than that can be hard, unless they lower ranks.
And Reaping where you hiding >.>
