Each new patch makes me believe less and less in Trion, it's sad really, in beta they were doing an amazing job, probably the best beta I've ever seen. But now? Headed for disaster. It may seem like an alarmist type of view but it's also pretty reasonable, the true next generation is right around the corner, games that actually are innovating in one way or another.
Honestly, this game will be crushed by the triumvirate that is on the way. I didn't think so before, but every single change they make convinces me more and more.

But us, coming from a old game like AO, we looked at all games and chosed rift becouse its much better then anything avaible atm. Of course new games, better games will come out next year but till GW2 is out RIFT is the best choice you can make imo.
So far trion shows they working hard on rift, atleast this is my impresion, and hello, its only 3 months old.
That's because there's literally nothing out there. Every single MMO that's come out in the past 5 years or so have more or less tanked. It's like saying that Lada was a great brand because there was nothing else to choose from east of the Iron Curtain. The cars were still ****.
Working hard? I agree. But putting out a lot of stuff does not mean that you're putting out good stuff, or the right stuff.
I can say one positive thing, they do know good content and features, if you exclude the PvP side of those two subjects.
As for "only 3 months old"? That's just nonsense, for one there's no excuse to put out a bad product and make it better later. That **** is a plague on this industry. But lets say that you, not unlike many other gamers, enjoy being screwed over when you purchase a product? Well, "only 3 months old" means nothing when something is getting worse over time.

Well i dont want to sound childish and tell you that evry single game when it launched had alot of things "wrong" to say it nice
Well i understand it becouse im a developer myself and its hard to test evryhing or to understand exactly what majority is looking after, anyway im not hugging any team be it blizzard or trion or funcom, i dislike them all and i just hope they make games that i like.
About rift, we will see, so far imo evryone that is flame'ing trion team should atleast have some patience. Or if they want to support and help them, you could contact them and tell them your review about the addons they added or what you think it should look like.
And yes they read all reviews, i do at my company too.

We are Guardians ofc, how else could we say we want defiants to build ppl so we have some challange.
We already got ingame some of the best pvpers i played with for 8 years. More and more will come ppl. We are a large community of online players that been selected carefully for theyr skills. Its true not evryone from DI gonna play RIFT since we have guild in AO that is still active and owning evrything related to pvp.
Remember one thing, and im gonna give you a good exemple about it.
Anarchy Online is a complex game but a very old one. And it been alive for 10+ years now, it been alive becouse US, the players been creating the content to be in our advantage, we didnt go scream the game sucks, we tryd to help the developers on the test servers and we growed the third-party tools/programs to help players ingame since the developers didnt do much in this perspective. What i am trying to say is, the players make the game to be fun or not, developers can only listen to us and try theyr best to take our cash. Yes we DOLLARS in theyr eyes, and that is a good thing. Trion is a mature company and have good hamsters developing game.
Try like me, wich im way newer to game then most of you, to help game get better.
I just hope evryone could really look at this game as some free time smashing tool, wich can be fun if you build it that way, or , it can be frustrating if you only complain.
