Many dev's don't take responsibility and PA teams are incorrectly using the term PvP. There are a lot of games that are to blame for this mentally in current players (coughcough Aion).

What is PvP? - Well many players could give their own opinion but I can tell you what it is not.

- its not ganking (low levels, players hitting mobs, you, plus vs 1)
- its not running away from a 1v1 fight at 10%
- its not pulling mobs onto a player and then fighting
- its not doing pve to gear up so you can pvp
- i could go on...

I find it funny how all the pve players have followed the pvp players onto the pvp servers. Then say "pvp server just means what rule set it is for pking its not just for pvp players". I mean they aren't going to remove pve or pvp content depending on server. Christ is there any hope? (currently ignoring any players spamming /5 for pve groups atm)

One thing i like about this game is that you can't pve for your pvp points. This imo puts the dev's of rift in a good position in my books.

Nowai, this is one of the best features of any game featuring PvP.

yeah, Booo is still there, afk-ing the crap out of warfronts during the night mostly. reported him a lot of times, with the standard reply "we are looking into it. thanks for the feedback, bla bla". I keep seeing him since i was level 20, but that is a story for another time.
It should be relatively easy for them to check, probably Booo and others like him, dont have more than 100 kills lifetime, but go around in prestige rank 2-3 gear.
As for the warfronts where roleplayers are involved, like it wasnt bad enough that we loose most of them on defiant side, i also have to deal with some idiot spamming stuff in caps.

Yep this new breed of pvpers seem like a joke, half the QQ HH got was because we ran premades. Apparently you're supposed to pug warfronts or you're really lame. Someone even called us "lame nolife gankers" because we had a premade. Do people even know what ganking means anymore?

Seriously, with level of play I see from randoms, why would anyone willingly submit themselves to pugging warfronts? I've done it a few times and every single time I feel like smashing my face in a wall because it's so frustrating. I've done black gardens where I as the clothie, pick up the fang several times, melt faces left n right and still somehow, by some mysterious power, the randoms manage to lose it in the end.

It just boggles me why people would prefer this instead of organized pvp.


And don't even get me started on all these ****ing ******s that made the queues massive to this server just because they HAD TO ROLL here, yet all they ****ing do is grind PvE.
