Defiant> Guardian Ratio?

Has any one else got fed up with the Defiant> Guardian ratio, being a pvp server and knowing what i was getting into I thought I wouldn't mind a little bit of ganking or whatever I'm used to it with other mmorpgs in the past, but this is just ridiculous whenever I go to an area quest for instance the death quests in stillmore were bollox the aoe and constant ganking near the wardstone was twatish but hey maybe im just being a moody basterd :)

I'm answering as I've got a son who's your namesake and feeling a bit paternal. So....

Ok, son - here's how it goes. If they gank you, you've got to gank them back harder. If the ganking (yes, the spelling is correct) goes on then you'll just have to stand up for yourself by ganking back.

On the point of rifts - if there are more of them than you, just stand back and let them do the hard work. There's no mileage in getting involved in being a boy racer with all that aoe nonsense and getting yourself killed - the healer guy is coining it in as it is. Just remember that the enemy probably don't mean it, so don't take it personally. Make sure you stick in a few ranged attacks though to keep them on their toes and earn your reward.

Do a quick headcount near the end of the rift fight. If you see more greens then get stuck in, otherwise consider your exit options. Ask a friend to stun the portal keeper, that's always a laugh when they can't escape.
