Harshmallows - Budding Raid Guild

Well hello! Thanks for checking the thread out, Im Miyel and I'd like to introduce Harshmallows.co.uk, A Defiant faction guild. We moved from Heatherfield 4 weeks ago, and have been getting a feel for the server, the community and general atmosphere and have decided to stay, as such, were looking for more members to join our social based guild.

The core of us have been together playing games since 2003 and originated from Planetside EU Werner server, from the outfit Outcasters, as such harshmellows has an extended gaming community via our parent guild of some 500 active members and at least 2000 regually keeping in contact spread throughout the gaming world. Harshmallows is led and run by Mimy, Slubbi, Miyel, Krispyduck, Zghostz and Crustix, but not in a dictatorial style which is often common in the gaming world, our parent Gaming community excercised a type of democratic playstyle where the members decide what we do, the leadership merely co-ordinate and help run events and operations whilst providing direction for our memberbase.

We have realistic aspirations in becomming a fully active raiding team, and are looking for members to join our ranks, realistically, social members can join from level 30+ unless invited by leadership etc. Level 50's were looking for people whom know their class, gear wise we as a team are still building our gear for several members, all we ask is that your willing and able to take part in expert dungeons, to take advice, be persistant in your gear grinding and that you also bear in mind that gearing is a team effort, several members are still gearing up so maybe expect the odd wipe or two.

Current Capabilities -
T1's not a problem, easily Cleared
T2's - The core members and a few new ones are able to tackle these with minimal effort, we are currently boosting lower geared members through these to help them attain gear able to start takling 10 man raids before we start pushing 20 mans.
Rift Raids, we currently have started a once a week Guild Rift Raid which we get the lure and souls ourselves, invite randoms and give Loot prio to our guild members in raid (our souls afterall).
Rift farming can often be found happening, including expert rift farm and crafting rift farms

We have no restrictions on classes joining, but we do have a maturity requirement and a behavioural standard.

-Over 18's please. all of our members are at least in their mid 20's and a few in their 50's. We have nothing against kids, but we prefer not to socialise with the younger generation due to conflict of intrests and personalities, no offence intended.

-Elitism in any form isn't welcome, we put up with some of that in the past, we wont do so again, those who start to exibit this behaviour will be asked for an attitude ajustment, failure will result in being asked to leave.

-An open mind. We have girls and guys from all over europe and some int he middle east (yes we even have a saudi in guild) we have different views and beliefs, cultures and orientations, and can be quite a culture shock for some people, all we ask is that you have an open mind, prejudices' are not cool, and if you are unable to handle that, were not right for you.

-TS ethics, yes we can be a little rude and were loose with our tongues, one of the reasons for an over 18 policy, the only forbidden topics are Politics and religion, which are best left at the door! (aside fromt he usual banned topics)

Sorry for the long thread, I prefer to get alot of the small print basic details on the recruit page, so that new potentials have an idea of what were like and that which new potentials should refrain from applying if they are unable to abide our requirements, saves time later!
