At dawn I took a walk outside,
So grateful to be still alive
I felt the stitches in my side
And took myself away.
Shimmersand, I shall be gone
Reached Lantern Hook but carried on
Through desert heat and searing sun
I journeyed through the day
The Freemarch gate, a welcome find
I pass on through with clearer mind
To somewhere that is less maligned
With trees at which I pray
Meridian, I am coming back
Body parts no longer lack
Cos with both kidneys now intact
I can re-join the affray.
Morbin.
