Returning and looking for Guild

Hey all,

I'm a returning player. I started playing during Beta and sticked around for 6 months if I can believe my achievment... ;)

I had to quit due to RL stuff and now I've decided to re-sub!

Thing is... I logged in and didn't know anybody... :X

So I'm now looking for a guild. I'm self-employed in RL and have lots of work. So I can't guarantee to be online regularly. I'd still love to be in a nice guild. RP would be awsome (although I know that most decent RP guilds demand a lot of online time from their members). I consider myself a very experienced and dedicated RPer. Plan B would be to find a nice social guild.

I have a lvl 50 Guardian Mage with ~T2 dungeon gear. If I found a nice Defiant guild though I'd roll a new character as well.

If you're into RP , I would check out Faeblight.It's probably the highest population RP server.Server transfers are free once a week or you could check the Shard forum.

The Clandestine are also a rp guild. We don't ask you to be on for strict times as often stuff going on you can jump onboard with. If you're interested whsiper me ingame on either of my charcters Mortimer or Guiomar (or ask about incase I'm on one of my many alts)

thanks for the fast and nice answers. Took me a while to figure out that Faeblight is a US Shard! xD
I'm from EU. Isn't that a problem?

Also I'll check the Elders and Clandestine websites out. I remember The Clandestine from when I stopped playing!

You can't transfer to Faeblight because its an american server. It doesn't have a bigger population for RP in the EU timezone (right now its 7 AM in the US and 3 PM in Europe, guess which server is more active with roleplayers)? And finally you'll have high ping and low performance.

Only way to get to Faeblight as a european is to order a EU copy of the game, which is really pointless because why would you want to play on a US RP server which will be deserted in your timezone when there is an active RP server with a big rp community in your own timezone?

Presumably you meant the only way to get to Faeblight as a European is to order a US copy of the game? If so, this isn't actually true - EU subscribers can play on US realms and vice-versa, but in order do do so you need to change a setting in the launcher: Settings -> Region -> North America.

All your other points are valid though! You indeed can't transfer characters cross-region, and even if you rerolled, you'd have higher latency and the time zone difference would mean you wouldn't see much of the population.
