Its a programming oversight I believe. I'm guessing they just add a modifier to the existing ability when points are spent for it, and when the poison is applied, it just overrides the modifier. ...

lgv needs to be unpurgable, along with some other class defining 'buffs'.

Its been said over and over, just take the ******ed powerup out of WFs, 90% of forum QQ would be gone! Its really only useful for pyros, a few other various mage callings, and the occasional dps...
