Well in WoW it's usually only for 3s, so it's a lot less and you can just have modifiers inside of the macro for each instead of the icons... but still a lot of people use multiple icons to be able...

So does Wildstar and a new WoW xpac, lol. Both of those will cause a big drop in players from Rift for awhile if they don't start coming up with more to keep players interested, especially with PVP.
