    Thanks,

I was also leveling a rogue, and noticed that there aren't many leveling guides, which makes it a little frustrating.

I'll definitly give your specs a try.

You'll get a lot more DPS out of Sab with a build like this one.

This is a bad build, if you are going over 40 you should always go 44 because annihilation bomb will be better at that point and you should take Volitily to let your detonate do damage considering you took combo point generating, also taking dark malady will give you opening booster instead of lingering flames and you can get "Sabotage Run" and use it like another cooldown together.

I personally use 34sab/24nb/8sin for maximum single target benefits instead of 44 build which is maximum aoe.

Thank you so much for this. Most build guides I have found are for Live, or really outdated. Im not great at theory crafting, so this helps a lot. Keep them coming!

    For PVE :

I currently use this build for leveling & Dungeon :
    [44Sin/22Sab]
    https://rift.magelo.com/en/soultree#yp8xiaFax4/Bkx42/x

    For solo :

    - It provides amazing burst damage with Cloak and Dagger + Final Countdown + Poison Malice + Debilitating Dart + Expose Weakness
    - You gain some survivability with your Enduring Brew + Leeching Poison + Side Steps + Foul Play
    - Fully playable at range after the invisible oppenning in melee.
    - Unlimited invisibility and Vanish.

    For Dungeon :

    - Still have a really good burst damage.
    - Your CD are perfectly aligned and helps you provide a good sustained dps.
    - You cleave quite nicely
    - Vanish + Rezing people can be useful

    Negative aspects :

    - Everyone hate to play sab
    - You need to handle charge management in order to provide good sustained dps (make sure you have 20+ charges before poison malice comes up)
    - Openning & Thread of Deat needs to be used in melee.
    - The spec has no mobility

    Bonus :

You can change Danceblade offsoul to Physician in Solo so you can heal self or to Riftblade / Marksman in Dungeon for mobility.

    For PVP :

    https://rift.magelo.com/en/soultree#yp8xgk/BkYh8g/x8EEL

    Pros :

    - Extremely High burst
    - Good Control
    - Improved Stealth + Small vanish
    - Doesn't care too much about disconnect
    - Descent survablity

    Cons :

    - Bad sustained dps
    - Sab still and always will be annoying to play
    - Kind of unfit for battleground

    How to play it :
Sneak on someone and annihilate him withing seconds, wait 5 seconds, look at him complain in your chat.
This is insanely strong 1v1 spec but requires the CD to be available.

    Hope this helps

edit : I'm currently having too much fun with the Tact spec. I will soon make a Bard/Tact guide.

Question for you... Why in the healer build do you go Riftstalker and not Bard? 0 point in bard does increase healing a bit... just curious.

Teleportation from riftstalker gives mobility to the healer. You can follow those tanks that keep charging out of your range with ease. And you lose nothing in the other side.

The lingering flames was a misclick, I meant to get Volatility. I do like the idea of Sabotage Run and Dark Malady used as a CD.

I'm not 50 yet so I've yet to test Scatter vs Annihilation, and how it flows having such a high charge cost vs another 5% damage from Heat Retention.

That said I still think going full Sab is a mistake and NB will be much better overall for damage.

    Here's a corrected build.

Default Help understanding of the macro?

    cast Detonate
    cast Final Countdown
    cast Time Bomb
    cast fragmentation sticky bomb
    cast Satchel Charge
    cast Cloud Maker
Question: How does Satchel Charge or Cloud Maker ever go off in this macro? Mine doesn't, as Fragmentation has no cooldown so I wouldn't expect anything after it to do anything.

Is that the point? That those skills are a dps loss?

    Thanks.

I couldnt get Satchel to ever fire either. I use it on a second button, so it became a 2 button macro for me. Not high enough yet to figure out cloud, but ya Satchel never fires on the macro.

My guess is it won't go off unless your bomb supply runs out. Cloud Maker if your bombs run out and you have no combo points.

That said Time Bomb and Satchel Charge should be on separate buttons.

I like leveling as Tact/Bard... very active.... frequently tops the chart for trash, while suppling solid support.

Basically Coda there to keep your motif/resonance up... use necrotic core/torrent to AE like crazy....

I usually got all motifs up... rotation starts...

AE - Pre build 5 combo + all motifs > drop core + x3 necrotic torrents > coda of restoration > PC+ Cadence ( or rift ever 2nd rotation)

ST - Pre build 5 combo + all motifs > drop core > Coda of Jeopardy(at my level) > PC + Cadence (or rift when avail) > Coda of Wrath

If you dont need the heals from cadence you could sub in Cadenza

For solo questing... hard to beat the heal power of Curative Engine + Cadence spam.... with doing solid damage.

One note - Last soul I swap between Assassin or Ranger... pet is decent up to mid 30's with the healing provided.... but in dungeon/rift dont need the pet so just take the small damage boost from virulent poison
