Having the same issue, the server list tries a few servers in a 208.94.27.x range on ports 6520 and 80, and fails anywhere between 71-77%.
I have no issues with this on my gaming rig desktop under Windows 7. (can't blame me for wanting to play on the road, I'm loving the game)
There is a teaser on Crossover Games facebook page saying they are looking at releasing an update tomorrow...

Shall keep you posted to my specific issue.I just finished up some work on Rift. It has to do with how the mac handles sendmsg with a 0 length message (succeeds on windows and linux but fails on mac)
A patch is pending in winehq which gets Rift working fine. I am unsure if the other games you have placed with Rift have the same issues. If you generate a +winsock log search for the string "too long"
if you find some errors stating "Message too long" then it is the same issue and will be fixed when the Rift fix gets in. Otherwise it is an unrelated issue that will take more investigation.
