I ended up getting "Event Invitation status EULA Action

But I am still getting #2002, I relogged and changed my password, that's what got me that one step further.

did you try logging out and back in account management page? if yes, did you try to change your passwort and then start the launcher?

Yes done those, checked for a proxy, changed my password, been in and out of my accounts page numerous times, signed out and logged back in, an still get the same error with the beta patcher. The problem is with my account and its flagging for access to this beta event I am sure. Everything is as it should be, it just won't let me log in to the patcher.

It would seem, given the error is not authentication failed (what you get if you get your password wrong) is that it is completely happy with the password, its the subsequent check if my account is beta enabled that is at fault.

*update* - the beta patcher has just now let me log in. Probably 45 minutes after I changed my password (to the same as it was). Was it that which fixed it or logging out/back in - if it was either of those it was certainly a delayed effect.

I have the same problem as Mehuge. I just changed my password, hope this helps sooner or later.

Did the same and it worked.. change your password even if its the same and it will allow you to patch

Correct it fixed it just reset your password to what you already have it as and then sign in and out of the trion account page then into the launcher.

I logged on but all server is not active

Changing password worked for me - I was getting error #2002 but after changing my password I was immediately able to log in and update.

I got two beta invite emails. My rift account says I have an invite but i still cant log in because im not authorized? *sigh*
