i run a large uii in general cuz i play on a 32 inch monitor.

i have some stuff hotkeyed and other stuff i click. so with having that big of a screen, i have the real estate to make my stuff bigger.

its been over a year since i screwed with ui as i just port in my ui from other toons, but if i remember right, my 2 main action bars are around 1.45 in the ui scaling/edit layout.

    GPUBenchmarkTime = 340282346638528860000000000000000000000.000000

    whats good/bad score for this?

my computer specs are as follows

    16gig ddr3 Gskill Ripjaws 2133mhz ram (2x 8gig sticks)
Radeon HD-7970's in crossfire (2x 7970's) overclocked to 1145 core/1575 memory clock speed
AMD Phenom II 960T quad core unlocked to 6 cores and overclocked to 4.4ghz per core

    Asus M4A87TD Turbo EVO mobo
    Scythe Rasetsu CPU Heatsink
    Cooler Master HAF-X case

get a new cpu .. ur graphic card makes no sense with a cpu like this .. it slows down ur whole system..

for the other problem no idea^^
but u can just delete the file, if u run the game again it will create a new file with the default settings.

Don't think that's possible on any current hardware.

Why do people lie about the frame rate they get? I don't get it.

A youtube video ordinarily wouldn't prove anything about the validity of a statement that you supposedly get 90-100 FPS in conquest zergs, considering *youtube is capped at 30 FPS*, but your video actually speaks a lot toward it.

Any time you actually go into zerg combat, your framerate is CLEARLY dropping quite significantly. Meaning... you're actually getting under 30 FPS in these situations you claim you're getting 90-100 FPS in. Why?

Here's a GIF of your hotbars at around 1:16, when you respawned in base.

If you actually count the frames, which is relatively easy, the first GIF is 30 FPS. Makes sense, hell it might be 90-100 in reality but capped on youtube. But who cares, you're standing in base by hardly anybody.
You know what the second one is? That one that's actually in zerg pvp? The one that matters? 12 FPS.

You literally claimed you get 90-100 FPS in zerg pvp, and show a video with you getting TWELVE. Why? How do you not notice the difference between 12 and 90 FPS? And if you do, why the hell do you lie about it?

Whoops, just noticed I stupidly flipped the gifs in reverse somehow.

    12 FPS: http://i.imgur.com/ON000.gif

    Boo for edit timer.

cuz fraps says im getting 90-100?

regardless, this thread got off topic, was just wondering why the value on the thing was so high in my cfg file

and someone mentioned to delete the file and reset it to default.

did that, same value comes back.

I believe the scoring is supposed to go from 1-10 with 6 float points (I am NOT sure on the min/max of the benchmark)

It's possible the crossfire is confusing the benchmark, or some sort of setting. However, on the benchmarks, higher is better, so I don't think you have anything to worry about.

While typing this, I discovered if you use the arrow keys to scroll through text, and hit the end of the current text, it starts scrolling the position of the frames on the page instead...

So far as I know, it's not. With the exception of one or two people who make really extreme claims like this, virtually no one reports being able to get stable even at 60fps in crowded areas at max settings. Heck, I am not sure I've heard any authenticated accounts of people being able to maintain a stable 30 fps during things like zone event fights.

People on forums like to brag about numbers. Without some kind of mechanical explanation of what they are doing that is yielding 2x-3x the results of machines which are on the extreme high end of the parts spectrum, I mostly just don't believe it.
You can play WoW in any MMO. You don't have to play WoW in RIFT. Oh, and no, RIFT is not a WoW clone. Not having fun any more? Learn to play, noob! I don't speak for Riftui, but I moderate stuff there. Got ideas for improving the RIFT community? Feel free to PM me. Just came back? Welcome back! Here's what's changed. (NOTE NEW URL)

Outside of large combat areas, myself and others get elevated FPS levels. One thing I do know is that it seems to be people with relatively modern quad core or better CPUs that are OC'd at or above 4ghz per core. I don't get 90-100 though. Solid 40-60 in Sanctum, sure... but not 90-100.
