Default Lots of game crashing lately, Meridian worse than ever before

I'm not sure what happened on Trion's side, but loading any character in Meridian (from game start or porting there) is taking waaaay too long lately. It's always been bad to wait for everything to render in Meridian, but it's far worse now than ever before.

I'm also getting a lot of game crashing lately. I always submit the report and restart the game. So Trion is getting whatever info it needs from me already.

My drivers are updated and nothing is new on my computer that should contribute to lag or rendering issues.

What's up with all this? and when the heck is it going to get fixed? Especially the rendering issues in Meridian (I have read that Sanctum has similar issues too). Remake the city for all I care, please FIX it.

Storm Legion updates are in progress. If it's not happening fast enough for you, offer some help! I could use it.

Early on I was also crashing to desktop. Now it just crashes the video card driver. I sent in bug reports too but Trion says there are no open tickets for my issue so you might want to open one up anyway. It seems they don't think there are any problems.

Neo Omni posted a Thread with a possible solution if you're running a Windows 32-bit client, seems it's a memory problem?

What's the solution for those of us on 64 bit in excess of 8GB RAM?

The one common thing is ATI graphics cards. I have a GT220 that I have been using since I mistakenly sent in my 5850 for repair thinking the card was going bad, that hasn't crashed once.

This little tool was created for another game but, it works on Rift too and it works on 32 or 64 bit on any Windows PC that has 3 or more GB RAM. Just replace the other game executable in the instructions with the Rift executable.
