Just thought I would add to this post. Anytime I log out of the game in Meridan and log back in. The game crashes to the desktop and gives me the choice to send an error report. If I log out anywhere else this does not happen.

I'm also having the same problem. Crashing on loading screens, seems to be getting more frequent.

Now I'm totally screwed. Everytime I try to log onto my characters, whom happen to be in Sanctum, I blue screen a few seconds after loading the area. The game is completely unplayable. My friend on a different computer down the street is having the exact same problem.

Same problem here and lowering video settings doesnt seem to help at all. Most of the time i cant even send an error report. This is making the game practically unplayable.

I have noticed that while it does seem to happen at random, I can usually log back in and I am OK for a while. Except inside Sanctum. It happens much more frequently there and when it does, it chain crashes where I can experience 3, 4 or more back to back crashes never even getting past the initial loading screen.

    Some more info:
I noticed this also started happening immediately after I implemented some addons. I thought that was it initially so I removed them but it did not correct the issue.

Next, I re named my (C:\Program Files) Rift folder and installed a fresh instance of Rift. I did not install any addons and now Rift is not crashing.
If the tank dies, it's the healer's fault. If the healer dies, it's the tank's fault, if DPS dies, it's DPS's fault. (This assumes the healer doesn't stand in the "Boss Poop")

I know a few people in person who are also having this problem in Sanctum. It has only happened to us while loading into Sanctum. This started to happened after the Maze was removed on Friday.
I've contacted Trion with a detailed report about the incident. I've resorted to binding my soul to a different porticulum and never going into Sanctum. If I BSOD in Sanctum, I'll be forced to log into Sanctum to keep BSODing.

I'm having the exact same problem. I played for most of Freemarch without going into Meridian today. As soon as I entered the city I crashed. Now, even outside of Meridian, I'm experiencing crash. They are much more inconsistent than when I'm in the city, but they seem to start occurring for me after visiting Meridian.

As a note, I have 0 addons installed. I downloaded the game 3 days ago, so its a pretty fresh install.

Exactly the same problem, I daren't go near Sanctum during the evening and have bound my soul in Argent Glade. I've disabled Crossfire, as somebody said that may help. I will see how that goes this evening, but I've never had these problems before, it's only since the server merge.
If you say plz instead of please, I say no because it's shorter than yes.

It's the game. It's been happening since the latest patch.

    It's not your computer.

    It's the GAME.

    Default Error handler

Ever since patch 1.9. I've have been crashing 4 to 5 times a night and mostly when I use portals and soul recall. My game has been running perfectly before this last patch. And yes I did update my drivers like you suggested and same problem.
