Auto move

I recently started playing the game again after a long hiatus and was playing fine for a while, but now every time i press any button i auto run and cant stop myself from auto running by any means except by alt tabbing. i can post my specs later if needed but hopefully there's a quick fix for this.

restarted my computer and it works fine now but im still a little curious why it would happen in the first place.
