Missing Interface completely

I reactivated my subscription hoping to play Rift again, but right now it seems like I wasted my money :-/

When I launch the game from the launcher, there's no interface. I'm on the character select screen (from what I can remember), but there's nothing to see. It's just the background being rendered. No character, no interface with buttons to click, nada.

Other games render just fine, seems to be isolated to Rift.

Could be related to the streaming client. It was about 80% done when I tried a few times. I just tried again with it almost finished and it rendered my character and the background, but if I hit enter (to select my character) it ****s the bed.

OK! It finished downloading and nothing has changed :-/ not related to the streaming client. I also see lots of flashing rectangles instead of the TRION logo and stuff.

try /reloadui. I have had problems with certain things not showing up and that fixed it. also try running the restore on your client, something could be corrupt.

I ran the restore and I can't tell if /reloadui did anything hehehe. I literally have no UI throughout the entire game.

well, those were my ideas :\. did you try toggling the ui? ctrl+u by default.

Possibly a Windows 8 preview issue?

Got another machine without a Beta OS on it you can try?
