That screenshot is really painful to look at. Can you adjust the gamma?
I don't have any screenshots/video of ROTF anymore but mine is nothing like that. I get the "inability to see" thing but that's just because of snow (I can see all the snow flurries -- they aren't bright, there's just too many).
When looking at the zone the way it's meant to be, I enjoy it a lot. My favorite dungeon view by far, lol.

In that case, you may want to readjust your settings. Try the defaults to start, then play around with the settling level (low, medium, high, etc.), as well as the low vs high rendering (the one that requires a restart of the game).
Problem is on your end.
Maybe gamma/brightness settings messed up?
Maybe faulty hardware?
Maybe you got brand new graphic cards and didn't install newest drivers?
Looks like you need to adjust your Gamma!

^ Agreed. It should not be changed. It's a blizzard; you aren't supposed to see well. It would be like if there is a dust storm scene in Rift and you can see everything for miles away because Trion decides the dust storm is transparent.

I did adjust my gamma a bit but I am not running through there again...
My cards are always on the latest drivers....
I never cared as much before as I was always DPS and did not actually have to look at the screen.... but being there as a tank and trying to make sure no one got any aggro... I found it very difficult...
ohh an there is no way I am gonna run this game on the lowest settings just for one little area....

No idea what is going on on your system, but mine looks similar to Himo's. That's on custom with almost everything maxed, so you don't need to turn the game down to medium, something else is going on.
If you remember how it should look and you know there's a problem with your system...what exactly do you want the devs to do about it?
I sympathise with the OP - On Ultra with a high end system my screen looks like yours, complete white out. Most of the time I can only navigate using the minimap in there.
Don't see why I need to turn graphics options off just to be able to see the world environment!
