Unable to select character / transfer

The thread was closed - I can only assume that a mod/GM found it, helped them and then shut down the thread.


I am too facing the same issue.
My character started out alright - I logged in, cleared my mail and then tried to transfer. First attempt worked, but said I needed to change my name. I decided to cancel and try a second and third server. On my third attempt it said 'Cannot transfer character, please contact customer service'

I thought maybe it was a mail issue still, so I tried to PLAY the character and I got a 'unable to select character, contact customer service'

I then logged into a working character to see if it would kickstart something. The character in question I had already been on and cleared the mail earlier. When I went back on it, there was more mail!?

I am wondering if there was more mail that didn't show up on the first mail box list for the stuck character and thus that's what it's gotten stuck.

Is there maybe a cache file that can be cleared out or?

I got the same problem, had no problem what so ever with my other characters but when i try to transfer EILA to another shard i cant. I could play on the char at first but not transfer it so i emptied my mail and left my guild and tried again but i still could not transfer and now i cant even play the character =( help?

Hello,

If you login to any character and open an in-game ticket by typing /cs and then asking for assistance regarding character transfer they will do this for you.

Mine was done by someone while I was offline.

Also having this issue... I also cannot seem to create new characters on any shards... Keeps telling me that the shard is unavailable... And I can't switch shards back to where my characters are.
