Cursor Vanishing

So as of today, Rift became unplayable.

When I log into the game and use the cursor to interact with ANYTHING (even so much as just moving my camera angle) the cursor disappears. I can still highlight vendors, buttons, and icons with it but it won't let me activate anything.

I've done everything you can possibly imagine to fix this issue (updated all drivers, all windows updates, deleted all addons, deleted rift from my computer completely before re-downloading it, using different mice, different USB ports, tried every available theme for the mouse in windows 7, adjusted all pointer options, turned off all programs aside from Rift, disabled my firewall and antivirus, used windowed mode, adjusted resolution settings, prayed to all gods I can name....).

It sucks to know I wasted 4 hours of tinkering and google searching to fix this problem, but it sucks even worse to have done it all and still missed raid night.

Search tool brings up multiple threads of people with the same issues, but they are all locked with no posts containing a fix.(a tad disheartening if I'm being honest)

I am unbelievably frustrated that something so minor completely wipes the ability to do anything efficiently and can only hope a fix shows up before the next raid night.

Happens to me sometimes too. What I do is just random move my mouse around so the game can catch up with the mouse movements, that usually helps me but not sure about you though. If anything try Alt + Tabbing out and also try running fullscreen windowed mode.

This is the same problem I am having...As soon as I click and move on the screen the mouse is gone....I ALT TAB out and go back in it is there until I move it again. I does not matter how I run the game. I don't see this in any other game.

Check windows font scaling. Any value above 150% will cause the hardware cursor to disappear in full screen mode.
