Obviously my weapon is supposd to be in my hands but isnt. This happens in every wf im in and every dungeon i do. I have a pretty good rig i can run the game on ultra but im running it on high to try and help the issue but its not working i even tried running it on medium settings but it still happens. any idea on what i can do to fix this??

When you run the launcher right click it and run as administrator. Then click on RECOVER. Let the RECOVER finish then follow these steps.

Make sure your Video Drivers are current and NOT BETA drivers. Once you know the drivers are up-to-date and are not using Beta drivers, go into the Driver Settings and Restore Default Settings.

Make sure your Directx 9 is up-to-date (click on Directx9 for their site). DX10,11 will be fine as long as you have been updateing Windows through Windows update.

    1. Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\RIFT Game or C:\Program Files\RIFT Game (were Rift is installed at) - right click and run as admin on: rift-live.exe
    2. Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\RIFT Game or C:\Program Files\RIFT Game (were Rift is installed at) - right click and run as admin on: selfpatchlive.exe
    3. Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\RIFT Game or C:\Program Files\RIFT Game (were Rift is installed at) - right click and run as admin on: riftpatchlive.exe
    4. Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\RIFT Game or C:\Program Files\RIFT Game (were Rift is installed at) - right click and run as admin on: hardwaredetector.exe (this will let Rift know your system specs and does a quick benchmark)
    5. Reboot and log into Rift as ADMIN and see if the issue if fixed, reduced, etc.

If none of those work follow these steps.

    1. Go to the control Panel and Uninstall Rift
    2. Go to: C:\Program Files (x86)\RIFT Game or C:\Program Files\RIFT Game (were Rift is installed at) - remove/delete RIFT Game folder
    3. Go to: C:\Users\(User Name Here)\AppData\Roaming - Remove/delete the folder RIFT (you may or maynot have to show hidden files for this)
Reboot and download a fresh/new Install Client or run the cd/dvd install.
I am not an expert, just throwing out some ideas that may help... if there is anything else I can do let me know or just post and we all will try to help.

To be a healer you have to have a pure heart, one that will always think about others before yourself. My fellow man shall not fall as long as I have breathe. Trust me and stand by my side and you shall always be rewarded with life.

Thanks for your help ive tried the first part and im still having the same problem. Im kinda reluctant to try the second part because i remember it took almost a day to download rift and id rather avoid that again. Im sure the problem can be solved through the graphic settings menu i just need to know what to tone down

This happens to my warrior as well... very annoying... half the time it looks like she is using her fists to smack stuff.

Between this and mighty blow bug... my warrior is a total bugfest.
