no such Screenshots folder. How/why should i move it out of program files?
if you have an (x86) folder, might want to check there, c:\Program Files (x86)\RIFT
if you bought the game via steam, you need to find your steam folder>SteamApps>common>rift>Screenshots
Vista and Win7 have overly possessive control over the ability for programs to read and write to the Program Files folder, and since Rift does that constantly, you may find issues like changing a setting in game or moving your UI elements around only to discover next login things have reverted.
This was a constant issue with WoW until Blizzard changed the default install location to \users\public\games\world of warcraft. I can imagine Rift might encounter similar issues with Windows security.
Sadly, unlike WoW, you cannot simply move Rift; you will need to reinstall it to a new location. I use c:\Rift Game.
Of course, if you have no issues, then don't worry about it.
Rift standalone install with default settings.
Windows 7 64bit.
"C:\Program Files (x86)\RIFT Game\Screenshots" (if you have your system partition mapped to C and everything isntalled in default places.) Not sure that this folder existed before i took the first screenshot... Try remapping your screenshot key in game settings to some other button. I use INSERT for example...
Another way to find it is just to do a search in your partition root for "Screenshots" and you will find the folder containing them.
Some of the cfg files are located at C:\Users\username\AppData\Roaming\RIFT but i have no clue if there is any possibility that Screenshots folder could end up there aswell... Don't know that much about Rift plumbing.
