    Hello Trion

    This problem that your made for all of us to make us update our accounts surprised me very much in a bad way. You made 1 MMORPG with not many bugs in it and now you are making that stupid decisions for account updates.

    1st of all WE ALL remember our user name and password.
    2nd of all we have our e-mail up and running

    And you suddenly decide to ask us for our secret question at account log in phase. What the .... ?

    When everybody makes his account they don't care much of what they type as answer especially if they are sure they WILL NOT forget their user and pass.

    Now is the time to work quick and fix this problem. And to make an automated Secret Question Reset option on your web page - VIA E-MAIL.

    It is unacceptable to ask people to call you by phone - especially WHEN they KNOW their account user and pass.

    So I tried to log in some days ago to see when my sub expires and couldn't because it asked for a security answer which of course i never cared about to remember because i put just a random word.

    Are you guys crazy ?

    for the last 12 years i've been using the internet, the security questions are used only in case that the password is forgotten ( and even in that case - just resetting through the email is a better solution ). Why does anyone need to use the security question to log in to his account ?? And for the flying spaghetti monster's sake, why can't we just reset them through our emails ?

    What makes you think we want to even call you ? why do we have to do that ? Ever heard the word privacy ?

    So today i just logged in, my sub has expired and I can't play and I can't either log in to the site to renew my subscription ( I'm wondering if I even should do that ). We live in the 21th century AD not BC, no phones are necessary for recovery issues, unless you want to collect phone numbers.

    I did call to trion in my country ( greece ) and the call was forwarded probably to the usa. and the guy started asking all sorts of weird questions, like what's my name, what's the name the account is registered, which are the 4 last numbers of the card, the first 4, the name of the card and so on, even the expiry date and my house address. At that point the call dropped for technical reasons.

    We are customers who pay money to trion, not criminals to be asked all those questions.

    tried to call trion anddddd....... INVALID OPTION. They said in the email that if you don't contact them within 48 hours, they'll believe the issue is solved. I'm screwed screwed screwed screwed..... Maybe I should give my information to a goldfarmer O_o?

    This is complete tripe, had to go through this same nonsense to cancel my Xbox live. Why is there no option to send it through email? It's 2011, let me do this all online. I just hope I'm not going to get locked out guessing my question for the next few hours.

    Please allow this to be fixed via email, as making it available to be fixed over the phone as the only option is very unprofessional. I didn't need to call someone to setup the account, therefore I shouldn't need to call to fix it.

    There is no way to cancel my subscription whitout remembering my secret question ? WTF !!!!
    so, im not english speakinh and i cant explain that on the phone, at least give us a way to to reset our secret questions by mail, but there is no option for that, do u think i gone stay my entire live in rift and pay you ?
    This is rediculious !!!!!!!!

    btw : this is the first game i can't log in with my id and password at a site, atleast u should give a option to reset secret questions on that page

    Well I guess I'm lucky I tried to log in to resubscribe and not unsubscribe, now I can just drop the game and complain about how much it costed for only lasting me 6 months.

    I don't know why just the login/password wouldn't be enough to log in, but IF you're going to ask for the secret questions you should at least make it so that it can easily be reset and not only have (bad) phone support as a way of resetting.

    What a pain in the a** this is!
    I can login and play the game, but i cant access my account management?

    As soon as i get in i will cancel my subscription.

    My Girlfriend has no time to play this month and we decided she would unsubscribe for a month and come back the next one.

    Now we find this ridiculous thing about calling by phone to where we dont know a **** about.
    This is a bad experience and so we both are cancelling subscription for ever (ill do by normal means since i have the luck to remember what i put on the stupid question, we are calling for hers, though, which sucks)

    Very disapointed with this, I had nothing but good things to say about your customer service, but this is really that bad.
    I know my user/passwd and I am even pretty sure I got the right question and still it does not work.
