forced transfer BS
Ok.. so after a few weeks of not playing I come back...
My original shard is now a "trial" shard..
And my chars cannot be transfered without changeing my names... This is pretty ridiculous I think.
So I have to either play on a trial shard or change my char names which I use throughout other games.. and have had since I pre-ordered the game.

Did you not try typing in the exact same name it had prior to the transfer?

No the messege is if i want to transfer to server on my next relog in I need to make a new char name.. most likely cause the names are taken on all the servers..
Which is BS to begin with basically im getting ****ed over on my char names cause they decided to turn my home server into a trial server.
One of the benefits of pre-ordering is having first come first serve to names, and I want to keep my char names I have. and be able to play on a server thats not for trials

I am sorry you have to change your name that you had a hard time choosing, but honestly if the shard your moving to has that name on a character and is using it, it'd be really unfair for them to just log in and be 'forced' to change their character name for no reason.
I am sorry your shard when 'trail-shard' and most the players moved off of it. This 'trail-shard' was done in an effort to make servers more playable by keeping them at some min player level, and keep trail players off of the other shards, making it easier to see what shards are really being used.
You have to either deal with playing on the trail shard, or change your characters name. I do feel for you, but making another player change their name because you move to their server is very unfair and would be unreasonable.
