Cannot log into rift

Hello everyone,

I haven't been online in rift for a while and now that i try to log into rift i get the following message

Cannot connect to the server.

Could anyone give me some info about how to fix this?

More details would be great. First, load up rift and type in your log in info and then before you hit play, try doing a recover.

I did a recover, but it aint really working. Also did a full reinstall but i still have the same issue.
can't be the isp since i played rift a week ago. any other tips?
all help is welcome and if you need info just say what you'll need and i'll try to provide it

A dxdiag, who your isp is, what area you are in, the error log (paste from them dont attatch them its annoying), and a tracert to riftgame.trionworlds.com would be a start

Alot of people are having this problem including me Trion tech support is curently looking into it.
