Failed to connect to server. Loading stuck at 59% <- wtf?

Like the title says

launcher launches.. updates the game
click play
the exe loads up

top left got a loading circle that's always stuck at 59% over and over and over again

as well as

"Failed to connect to server, OK to try again, Cancel to exit"

OK i tried this..

i see 4 lines of pinging the Rift server.. then it dissapears...

Yes, but the reason it fails is because you are behind a firewall of somesort.

You at home or at school?

What kind of connection? (dsl/cable/wifi/school network/etc)

This happened yesterday several times.

An hour later, it worked again.

Some joe doesnt pay the electric bill and power gets turned off, ITS TRIONS FAULT lol

P.S. yesterday there was a brief patch is why it didnt work but an hour later did
