Unable to delete Credit Card information from Rift Account HELP!

Hey, for three days now I have been trying to delete my Credit Card information of the Rift account I have as I don't like the game or want to play it no more. I go into edit and click on delete and it brings a error message up saying unable to save payment method at this time.

I have tried for 3 days to do this and contacted via Ask a question but no response from 2 questions asked in last 3 days to Trion Worlds...I have took it out of subscription but still wont delete anyone able to help please.

Like most MMOs you are able to cancel your subscription, but most will still keep your credit card information in case you decide to once again start playing. Unfortunately, the only way to delete credit card information completely from their database is to contact them directly. In other words, right now you are in a waiting game as it is release week and they are receiving more e-mails than they can keep up with currently.

I have bought this game didn't like and don't feel to comftable of my information being left with them when i quit the game. there shouldn't be any errors on my account when i click delete credit card when they have put that feature in game for users to actually delete there credit information. I know it is frustrating, but you have to understand how many e-mails they are recieving right now from several different countries. Sadly, there is nothing I can do, but this game has only been out for one week now (including head start) so they are probably receiving thousands of e-mails on the hour with questions, concerns, glitches, bugs, complaints, etc. I know you do not feel comfortable leaving your information with them, but I can guarantee you they are not going to make any charges to your account without your consent. This is not me saying just forget about it, but just give them some time and they will respond to help you.

Sorry but that's rubbish. No gaming company has ever stopped you deleting your card details from the account management. It's a bug with their website and needs to be fixed.

Thanks Jestahr I know it may be bug or summit and know you can delete this guy is just talking with ill experience but still dont want my card details on account when i wont ever play again hope they fix it soon...

Best bet would be to call them and ask them to remove it from their end, then check your account management to see that it's definantly gone.

I was trying to remove a payment method and have the same problem. I'd give it a week or two before you worry about it. As you said you can cancel the subscription, so I wouldn't worry too much. I understand it's just a peace of mind thing, so if you still can't remove the payment method in a short while, give em a call.
