It does seem odd that there have been no additional updates or patches, despite dozens of threads, and (presumably) thousands of force close reports being sent in.
I don't know about anyone else, but the Android version of this app is lackluster at best. I would say, on average, I can get the Lootables to work 80% of the time without the app crashing (and thus stealing my credit); the Guild Chat portion seldom updates on its own without me logging out and back into a character; and the Invasion notifications seldom work at all, regardless of me re-setting the timer every 24 hours.
Fix it, or tell us you're quitting development of the app- either way, just be up front about it.
Nothing? Mmk. I'll just continue to assume the Mobile Dev team is okay with a product that was hastily put together, and works in a half-arsed manner.
this is the first real dissapointment with the trion team actually...
the app was a good idea, but in this state its just useless, what a pitty for the resources already put in. Prbly. some small bugfixing for the chat, the events notificator and the lootables would at least bring the app into a usable state.
btw. iphone app is as broken as android, i guess the bugs with lootables and the guild chat are serverwise.
PS: Trion if you state that the developing of the app is on hold for some months due to the expansion needing all resources, im ok with it, just dont let us stay in the dark for weeks and months now ...

would like to see a few things get patched up still.
i posted it in another thread already, but i'm really not sure why we don't have a language filter for guild chat and tells. this is besides the fact that some people are still having issues with the app in general.
i agree though. this is really the first time i've seen TRION off a bit.
Experience is the best teacher.. if you can afford the tuition.
Well his last posting about mobile is from March ...
My guess is right now they're putting all their steam into Storm Legion... that being said, I find it hard to believe the Mobile team would have anything to do with in-game development, unless there's some overlap there...
I'm still waiting to see how/when this app is going from "beta" to live... Because there hasn't been an update in months.
It makes me kinda sad, really. I agree with DaddyDaz- this is truly a dropped ball on Trion's part.

I'm convinced at this point that RIFT has scrapped this project, and is comfortable with it "as is". there have been no updates, no announcement of updates, and not a peep from the Trion staff, even just to say, "we're working on a new build for the app that will remedy several of these issues."
*shrug* guess it's gonna stay broke.
