Thread: New PvP Vendor added on PTS As for the recon vials. The original 1 hour ones cost 1,750 favor. The new 4 hour ones cost 6000 favor. 1,750 x 4 = 7,000. The new recon vials are just ever so slightly more efficient to buy. I won't pick any up until I deplete my insane stock of current ones anyway.
I also wish they made a consolidated version of these things, or a way to at least group up all our desired temps and trigger them a swift/coupled action. Okay time to buff up for pvp:
Dagger rune 1
Dagger rune 2
Mount run speed rune
Chest armor rune
On foot run speed rune
Recon Vial
Bloodthirsty
Killing Spree
Physical critical hit proc
I mean. I've raided hardcore in Eq where every buff matters and I have stock piles of things I buff up on before raids so I can top parses. But, after this update apparently, this will take the cake for buff maintaining. Even though a lot of them are 4 hours. Just sayin', that is a lot of junk to slap on yourself.
I love the items. I just wish there was some new found mechanics where, I could merge my clicky like temps. Like, "consolidated buffs". Click it and whatever I bunch together goes off. Hits a bloodthirsty, a recon vial, a powersurge vial, killing spree.
I also think some of those that apply to feet could just be applied to being self buffs. Only conflict I see is world pvp. Otherwise they could just be made to be effective inside CQ and WF's instead of only being effective on PvP gear. Or design them so that you need a 4 set of pvp gear to activate them. Sure some code could be slid in the right directions to make that happen~ I can dream.
#18 It's great to have something to do with Favor. The two things I'm concerned about are bag space and action bar slots.
Similar to what Violacea wrote, I think it would be pretty awesome if there was some sort of a "container" where you could set up your buffs before-hand and just click one thing in the UI to apply them all in one go, and that the "buff credits" wouldn't use up any bag space.
INSERT COIN
I'm an altoholic: Five 60 clerics, five 50 mages, two 50 warriors, three 50 rogues, etc...
Something like consumables being a currency like planar charges, hotdamn that would be amazing! You'd be able to refill them, select which ones to use and then press the GO button.I'm already psyched about this! (If its possible though, seems like a rather large thing
)
No more 5th bag filled fully with consumables.
all in all a good thing! congratz guys at trion!
It says they last four hours. Means these are a superior value over the lesser ones for the same amount of coverage time.
"The thousand little pieces of my life, which I have tried so hard to hold onto, are slipping through my fingers again. Each time I have to pick them back up, my hands seem a little smaller. Don't pity me, kill me. Just be gentle." -from my hour of need-
it's a good start ..but nothing more

Thanks for throwing this up slipmat.
This is a great addition. Saves coin and provides another way to use the favor that continues to cap between buying pieces of gear.
Maybe they'll add the 1hr stat, mana and heal pots also.
TY Trion
Now we just need Warfront-only Tonics.
"You with your fancy cooldowns and "runic" power! You know where my power comes from!? THE BACK OF MY HAND, #&!$%!"
Definitely a step in the right direction even though it looks underwhelming
Yeah everything else gates progression long before favor at every level once you hit 60. That is why when people say they are farming favor you have to wonder what they are doing.
It is a near daily ritual for me to burn off some favor. I actually try to keep my favor just above 200k because a good conquest match will give me a big chunk. Also while I don't disagree with people saying have more stuff to buy in conquest, I do have to ask why they don't look at their character and buy stuff before they go in.
Even if you end up favor capped for a while it is not exactly the end of the world. It seems so the first time until you realize favor is not exactly burning a hole in your pocket. 54k for four hour buffs, that may be a bit high, we shall see.
Codex + 1 = Suck on a Gun
Bad idea because of two reasons. First, this will kill crafter's business. Second, if majority PvPers start using them, these buffs become mandatory.
