Conquest Power Reset Follow-Up

Hey all,

We know that with Update 2.1 being released in North America this morning an inadvertent issue was discovered that caused all Conquest Power accrued to reset to 0.

Unfortunately, there is no easy or immediate way for us to restore individual amounts - so in accordance with the new season, and to provide the most rapid solution possible, we've gone ahead and provided 100,000 free Conquest power to everyone.

This is 50% of the total conquest power you can earn and maintain. This payout of Conquest Power will be made when you enter your first round of Conquest following my post here.

Our apologies for the surprise and frustration this has caused - thanks for bringing it to our attention so quickly!

Hai everyone we derped... again... so instead of trying to fix the PVE rewards in PVP or make people happy we are instead going to piss the people who have already clawed out their eyes from conquest pre SL and now force them to do another 100k points in CQ. Now Adding to the list of things to grind!

Could we maybe also get a comment on why the changes to rogue were implemented today showing complete and total disregard for pvp concerns and balancing? Maybe? Possbily? Do you guys even play the pvp?

This, I spent so much time grinding 200k points in what is to me one of the worst forms of "pvp" that I have experienced, and now I am told "whoops we broke it, here is half of what you had, teehee"....This is totally unsatisfactory.

Yeah, I don't even PVP (at least I haven't yet) and I hate the way PVP affects PVE sometimes in nerfs and buffs, but... this is lame. Isn't there some measure you guys can use to assign amounts between 0 and 200k based on how much time people have spent in conquest? Like a tracked number of hours or games played? I don't think I deserve 100k when I've never played while people who played hard to save up 200k lost everything and I'd love if you guys found another way to at least improve on this current plan.

I don't know what you're talking about, I have plenty of time to grind back these CQ points in between grinding Torvan Rep, Lycini Rep, Eternal City Rep, Caretaker Rep, Qajiri Rep (LOL 45), Infinity Stones, Raid Marks, Daily Expert Dungeons. I'll just turn in my notice at my job, no big deal!
