    Default PVP Subscribers

I often wonder if others are in a similar position, because I actually subscribe to RIFT and only really PVP.

So to me the PVP developments in RiFT are very important.

I'm hoping that with the expansion there will be new assets such as maps and zones which can be reused for PVP.

Overall I think the engine and soul system are great so hope more PVP stuff will come out in the future.

    Cheers, Styl

I agree with you, more maps etc. would be so awesome!

I wonder how much of the normalization will actually make it. PA, if capped, is pretty darn powerful along with other proced items from raids and such. I really can't wait to try it in general when it hits live testing. Did devs say when it was going for testing?

Funny enough, it's easier to max PA as a full-time PvPer than as a full-time raider

True, though there will still be a distarity if it goes through, and most new 50s have a hard time getting it. Best place to get it is in open world stuff like invasions, IAs, dungeons. I level multiple times a day and only and not as much from pvp. Also, devs need to consider having a way for pvpers to earn gear for other forms of content otherwise you may see dedicated pvpers struggling in open world, dungeons or anywhere else that is not normalized.

I play this game under the general premise that I focus on PvP.

But...I find enjoyment in many other areas of the game than PvP. I root the most for PvP content. But I do fun things other than kill targets. But I also used to do the 5 night a week raiding thing for years straight. I've enjoyed PvE more than PvP in the long run of things. But I am trying to put more focus into school so I really enjoy pvp for the fact that I don't have to do the whole, commit to a gaming schedule thing.

For new content, I just want itemization to be good. Normalization or not, I just want the gathering of stats and availability of them to make sense. No need to rehash the mess of itemization 50-cap era was. It worked, but it had it's downers. Interesting souls are fun of course, a huge amount of fun comes from those combinations and trying new ones. Then of course I hope they step up their map making game. We have alright maps. I think they can make better ones though. I would like to see more natural danger in maps (lava, void pits, intractable traps).

Most of the challenge in MMOs for me comes from the pvp. PvE stuff is challenging the first time if you don't have someone leading your through it by the nose (which is the norm these days), but quickly gets boring.

Whether normalization is implemented or not (or to what extent), the fact that Trion started testing it convinced me they were going to put some serious effort into pvp in the near future, and so I bought a year subscription the other day.

All I do is PvP, troll the forums, and get fake mad at Zaros for his guild ignoring me.

Then I get a little real mad.

Edit: Then I go play Wrath of Heroes and work on my awesome Rock Band project.

I pretty much only PVP and generally enjoy most of whats going on. Conquest is a bit too much PvExctractors for my liking but otherwise I have more fun here than I do when PVPing in wow. I feel that people on the forums are generally a bunch of whiny *****es .
