You want Trion to close the gap between low rank and r50?

There is no way im being bolstered to lvl 36, i have rank 2 gear and they still take me out with 3 hits. Sorry aint buying it....

Warriors take me out in 3 hits in BiS pvp gear... you have to consider the superbly inflated damage that certain OP specs in each calling offer (champ,para,nb/rs,pyro) and consider how little the hp pools are on average.

Trion have messed up in pvp completely imo, not only do they seperate PvP and PvE but they bolster people which i disagree with considering I had to earn everything i have without bolstering and honestly every patch i have seen they have made HORRIBLE pvp changes that usually stack on top of one another and trion themselves dont even notice.

Terrible design in a lot of aspects, i dont really want to get into it.

You are already bolstered to rank 36. Rank 40 and 50 armour are very similar and you lost a low rank gear. Valor is normalized.

How much more can people possibly want?

What if Trion allowed a player to attack at a range farther than other classes? Then Trion can also give that class lots of defensive skills. For example, if the player gets hit, then he/she can fly backwards really really far and run really really fast. Trion can also give us an ability to remove two buffs from a player.... without a cooldown or cast time. As for DPS, Trion can give us one button to spam. This one button can hit lots of players and has no cooldown or cast time of course.

Man, that'd be really funny if Trion did that. Oh wait...

bolstering in the long run normalizes the pvp grind, get over it. The grind from r1 to 50 if in a pre 1.9 environment is not the same as grinding 1 to 40 in pre 1.9 then having months and months to enjoy being top of the food chain and then having to grind for about a month from 40 to 50. The second is muchEasier.

Trion makes more money from those rank less than 40 because there are more gaming hours left for them to play than someone who is already rank 40 and grinding to 50. If you feel cheated maybe you should have waited until after the pvp patch to grind pvp or make another toon and grind 1 to 50. I bet you stop playing it before 25 . As a 40 pre patch you Still have it easier than people at rank 26 with bolstering.

I have to edmit getting in to PVP in this game was horrible.
As a rank 1 I got 1 or 2 hit by everyone, and once ppl realized it they went for u every time they could.
My friends told me it would get better at rank 10, it DIDNT.
Then they said it would get better at rank 15... IT DIDNT.
Around rank 29 i started to feel like i could fight back and even win some fights.

The problem is low ranked players getting in the same WF as max ranked ones.
And well that problem comes from lack of player base.

I dont see how they could have done it better than they have now...

I suggest a different play style. I don't expect a newly leveled to 50 rogue able to take down another player in decent if not better gear. I do expect adaption to what you have and learning (if we can even use that word ) how to play effectively. I also had 6k hp too for a good few weeks. What did I do as a new rogue? I certainly didn't try to gank anybody. I played stealth and capped points, annoying the enemy team by stunning them, I eradicated from a distance, I battle barded, I did a lot of different things other than get my *** rolled over.

And I learned to support. And I learned how to retreat. And I learned how to be effective.
It's not a difficult thing to do, but I do admit it took a while.

This post makes no sense. They did "close the gap", they made conquest and designed it to be very exploitable to rank up to 50 in a couple days. If you aren't 50 by now and have a lot of new upgrades since 1.9 released then you were asleep at the wheel. This exploit helped the low rank players more then the high ranked ones. The high ranks had the gear and the exp, well now the low ranked players do to, any advantage the senior players had is basically now gone.

Correction I had level 2 gear until 1.9 now I have level 1 again. It used to be three shots and now it is like one and a half. Love all the new p50 players out there!!!!

the gear gap this patch even between r40-50 seems pretty significant, my hope is still that the grind is reduced. Honestly I think favor/prestige rates need to be drastically sped up, or even the first 30 ranks just removed (the first ranks are fairly outdated). I like having new players be able to impact the game, and matchups be more about skill comparisons between players than preemptive victories/losses. Pve content has taken similar steps to keep new players from being out of touch with the current endgame, i don't see why pvp content can't as well.

This is why they have ranked matches and bolster.

And yet that is the problem: they do not have ranked matches. The only time I was in a ranked match in the last two weeks was a rank 36-40 match. My toon was rank 20 at the time.

Ranked matches were an excellent idea to allow for a somewhat fair - and much more fun - environment for PvP. Unfortunately, Trion appears to be terrified of increasing queue times from the 1-2 seconds they are during prime time in order to actually have these ranked matches.

Trion cannot play your toon either.
