Who is Hungry for some Oathmeal?!

Anybody notice the rivalry between the factions has started to kick into full gear. Have to admit, this issue with Conquest, actually generated a bit of Faction Pride and Faction Rivalry.

I seen a few Faction taunts, such as ;

"Iam Hungry for some Oathmeal! Feed Me!!"
or
"Nightfall, meet Sunrise"
and
"Stupid Domination Rams!! Thats why you wont make the Superbowl next season!!!"

gets pretty interesting with the rival taunts. Have you seen any interesting conquest faction taunts?

Must be on a different cluster. Oath just dominated the other 2 factions on Seastone.

Early yesterday the word was:

"Go Oath if you want to win and do objectives. Go Dom if you want to farm at the beginning and the end. Go Nightfall if you..um..can't get into the other two."


Then Dom started actually winning (totally by mistake, we have no clue how it happened, we'd look at the counter and suddenly be at 60%) and thereby confused the people who left other factions to be Dom and farm favor.

Then Nightfall further confused issues by actually leaving their base. It was a joyous and historical moment. Up until then they'd been under the impression that the base was Conquest. They'd heard stories about a great big map just outside the walls, but had dismissed those as fairy tales made up just to keep people from killing themselves before the enemy could do it.

It's hilarious, on EU both Night and Dom run to camp Oath for the match with a few groups running around.

I've even seen people who were vehmently against camping, sitting at Oath spawn... camping! It's brought about a sense of camaraderie I haven't seen in rift for a long time!

Seastone cluster is pretty balanced to the fact that nothing is done maliciously for the most part outside a few nimrods in chat. Each faction has a purpose. Running NF or Dom for prestige (although this weekend Dom was dominating which threw a monkey wrench in that plan) and oath for medals.


It got kinda stupid on Sunday with 10 minute games where Dom player was like "it's going too fast guys"

But it was butt hurt NF came to dom to "get even" not realize we all wanted to grind prestige from each other. I don't see why path understood and Dom understood (even some NF understood) but those players didn't see the symbiotic relationship we had.

At the end Dom starting throwing the game so it wouldn't end so fast and oath won again (though even they started taking their time).

The sad part is that honesty sometimes Oath and Dom can be a toss up who wins but...dat Nightfall.
