A 51bd with the temp that pushes nearly 100% crit rate or the temp that causes the big hitter melee strikes to hit twice and add extra CP. If you don't stop that thing from wailing on you it will decimate. The thing is, all it takes is a few steps and bam, you just messed with the pure consistency. It's much harder to mess with the pure consistency of 30m+ ranged classes. That is why the people who play mostly ranged are surprised by how fast they get destroyed in melee range. As if their range damage is suppose to be that high.

    I was mostly speaking on behalf of rogues and warriors as obviously mages don't have a 'higher damage melee spec' option. But, that is different in comparing a calling with melee/range roles opposed to one with only ranged. Of course the one with only ranged will probably be made more on par with damage capable of top melee range damagers. It's almost like they balanced it by giving those dudes cloth armor, 1.5gcd and more/most casting time abilities. Crazy...its like, theoretical balance or something.
    51 BD has next to no survival. Sidesteps only works if the person has no hit.

    Well ya, BD is like a melee warrior that survives like a Sab. That is another flaw in itself. I just meant in the aspects of raw damage out-put, the result of consistent BD damage thrown onto a target is pretty heavy. But yeah, mixed with being bottlenecked into melee range to be worth a crap at all, having no great gap closers and god awful survivaiblity really makes the soul a wash. Which is unfortunate, really interesting soul with all those temps and has great burst potency potential. I just see BD as a pve class, because to perform well on it you basically need enemies that run to your feet and never leave you. PvP is 100% opposite. I've always said I wonder how many pure melee roles you would find in PvE if the mobs actually made it a point to constantly run away from you. That is about how logical it can be playing melee roles in pvp. Hence all the good ones have ranged/gap closer help that isn't god awful.

    The point is warriors I think do appropriate damage for the role they ful-fill. Just got side-tracked how it's too bad our 'in your face melee rogue' soul pretty much eats dirt once it gets in anyones face. But that our melee souls def can put out more pain than some of our classic ranged ones like MM when given the chance to unload. Just tackling the misconception that "LOL MM ARE LIKE MELEE WARRIORS AT 35M". You didn't say it, I just know it happened.

    What ever happened to working out how to kill another class rather than asking for it to be nerfed?

    This is not PvP, it's more like a damn child care centre.

    i dont think people understand that warfronts dont rely on the role of one class. i have played against certain warriors that are crap some games but played against the same warrior in another game that annihilated everyone. its about working together as a team and using all utilities possible to help one another out. the warrior may not be very good without help but when he has a dom that is constantly squirreling someone or another teammate snaring or stunning allowing him to get in and do what he needs to do to those annoying ranged squishies that he is unable to catch then most likely his team will win. most people seemed to get side tracked to work as a team or have a lack of communication, or some people are just idiots and dont understand what im saying. but then again there are so many different build combinations for each class and some dont work well with others. instead of realizing these things people cry on the forums that things need to be fixed.....

    you sir do not know PVP then, why would i want to figure out how to kill another class on my own just so they can rez and come back to kill me or have a chance to on that exact same spec.

    Real PVP is when u get an entire spec demolished and thus REALLY killing them. Them being the person who just killed u AND all those who have and would have killed you on that spec, its PVP with exponential results.

    Stormcaller, chlorolock,Necro,51lock,and every Archmage useful tool. Now do u see anybody running those specs other then trolling, thats True PVP the people who complained about them have killed those specs indefinetely no re-do's,no rezzing, just dead.

    This is not to say other classes havent been nerfed its just an example of the "PVP" against mages

    Heh.. theres actually quite the bias for the "rift" classes.

    I mean NB/RIFT-STALKER or RIFTBLADE/PALADIN from 1.5-1.8

    Now its all CHAMPION/RIFTBLADE

    I hate the fact that trion is so biased that they prioritize these "original" classes quite considerably over all the "rest".

    Shows a poor dev team imo.
