Really are we grinding from 40 to 50 in 1.9? Seriously enough of the grinding, it is bad enough lower level player are complaining about the veteran players. Please just make the cap to 40 and just let us grind for faction. More grinding will just create more imbalances for the lower level population. It's bad enough some don't want to grind for gear and to change the cap from 40 to 50 is just too much. I am not liking that idea at all.

Agreed, I have a warr that i just got to 50 and a cleric not far behind....and i see no point in trying to get them up to the same pvp levels as my rogue\mage. If i wanted to get beat that bad, i would call my wife a bithc...would take less time too.

The lowest tier gear in 1.9 is going to be the old rank 6 stuff. When I was geared with that, I was competitive against rank 8 geared players.
The new tier armour is barely an upgrade from the highest tier gear we currently have. Come 1.9, the descrepency between the lowest tier geared players vs the highest tier geared players is going to be the closest it has ever been... Well when it comes to armour and jewelry anyway.
The PvP weapon grind is going to be the biggest grind, but new 50s can get very competitive crafted weapons that can work well until rank 50 is reached.
And there is still the option of raiding to get excellent PvE weapons. The PvP grind for new 50s come 1.9 should be the most forgiving it has ever been.
Well i hope that is true, for the sake of the game and new(not alt) players.

I started typing a big long post that ended up being a victim of the back button. But that pretty much sums it up.
And yes if you're getting beaten by HK geared people then getting gear that is a tier higher then that will probably give you somewhat of the upper hand. And since the addition of hit/focus to PVP weapons you're even more of an equal footing. ID relics will be better than the PVP weapons damagewise but lose the valor and endurance, seems a pretty even trade off since they both have hit/focus.
