There's not enough melee rogues, that's for sure. Almost all of them play ranged.
A warfront without warriors is almost always lost. I don't really care if you do DPS at all - go melee and get in there, so that our frontline isn't healers and squishies. Because given roughly equal gear levels, that's a lost match every single time.

Back when I levelled my rogue, the game was fresh so almost no one was p4, let alone p6. BD was a viable WF spec - now it's useless.

I'd love to be able to pull out my BD again. Sadly, I'm finding myself playing my MM spec more and more as outside the odd 1v1 or 1v2, melee rouges are just shredded by the zerg.

Sadly, BD still sucks, but defensively specced melee rogues are just as hard or even harder to kill than warriors, while still having good damage output. I don't know the exact specs but a decent amount of Riftstalker is always involved, and often Assassin too... it's very deadly, more so than warriors. Good melee options do exist, if you want to. Just not BD

(just don't Rift Prison my targets at 5% HP kthx)

Occasionally when I get annoyed by other rogues running RS/NB spec, I'll jumpt to that spec too to shred some faces. But I find it a bit buttom spam macro heavy, so not as much fun.

At this point I'd be fine with just a zero Cd on stealth for 51 sins, and an increase to bleed and poison damage. But they really need to add some new poisons and change the cc classifications for 51 sins.

51 NB is a good build. It has good survivability, good damage, decent mobility and a tiny bit of CC (all of this with the right build). The snare effect of Twilight Force is the main problem. Targets reach full DR on this effect just by the neurons in your brain starting to fire as they process the thought required to use it. It's got a CD, give it better duration and DR.

I love the playstyle. It's just not that affective against top competition, but, in my opinion, it should be one of the strongest pvp roles for rogues. And by strong I don't mean it should be able to just stand toe to toe with anything, but it should be able to use a rogues tools, like stealth, poisons, bleeds, positional attacks and cc to be strong.
