Because if you have two brain cells to rub together you make a much larger impact than a single dps does plus it's fun.

You must play with some very poor players. My favorite spec to play on my mage is Dom heavy and it makes a joke of your statement.

Same here!
It has come to the same state that we had in WoW. Healers are focused to much and they are nerfing
the way they can surive and do their job. In Wow its more about all the darn CC's though.

1vs1 none should be able to kill the healer!
You can take ANY dps out there and ask him if he would go on playing his class if he knew he would get owned byt any other class out there. And he wouldnt be able to bring anything noticable to the team anylonger.

A healing cleric atm is abit like taking a Bard's healing and removing the buffs they provide...they heal/support jack****.

Deep Justicar with sentinel is the way to go. Using a shield for blocking. You get so many protective cooldowns, and decent enough healing to make a difference.

If people focus on you, at least you will be protecting people by drawing heavy fire.

I can take a beating from several P40 warriors for a good while.

That's just a perception. You're actually winning because you're getting better dps on your team. Your heals aren't doing jack **** to help your team win.

Maybe yours don't; I'm not terrible.
