If you aren't dying on a MM, you aren't trying hard enough. I can basically never die on my marksmen and stay really safe - I can also cut my performance. MM have plan B's for taking risks to boost their performance. If you aren't taking those risks, you aren't performing the best you can - but performing the best you can sometimes comes with inherent deaths when you push the envelope. Playing it safe is easy, anyone can do that.
You know, ever since this thread started I've been unconsciously counting the number of rogues in WFs and it's always 50% of the population or more. Combine this with other personal experiences, such as the MM class doing the most damage I've ever seen in WFs by a twink, and rogues in general are the only class I've ever been hit by for over 2000 (sorry pyros, only 1800s and warriors about the same except I hate you more because you take twice as long to kill)
Something in this game's pvp is way off and it points towards damage out-scaling healing, which means it out-scales mitigation. Trion nerfs healing with every patch, so it's got to be the mitigation. It would be funny if Trion runs into the number crunch on gear that WoW had to deal with by the end of lich king. Funny because Trion's own philosophy of "the game starts at 50" and accelerated leveling/lower learning curve brought the issues upon them prematurely.
Pyrolock absolutely destroys MMs that aren't better geared than the mage...
Warriors doing it to multiple targets on LIVE. Not sure of the skill but two guild wars in black garden run in, fire off an aoe skill at the exact same time and send a bunch of players back to spawn. Granted ones got HK relic but still.. No, I can't verify the skill, but was pretty amazed when I saw it happen.
