You have a very warped view of what open world FFA is, its quite apparent you never played these games for any length of time or you were just a complete non-factor that never left a guarded area to protect your 10 lumber in your sack.

I don't recal the name of the players but yesterday a twinked out few (49 warrior and 2 49 Rogues) decimated our entire team (not one over level 45) by just sitting at are spawm (whitefall) and getting us as we left the ledge. The warrior was hitting for over 2600 on some moves and one of the moves (no idea what it's called), hit me for 1800x3, it was literly come of the ledge, targeted - dead.

Twinked out player/s should not be able to lock out an entire team, and no way should a team with no players over level 45 be against a team with a number of 49 twinks.

Thankfully, i'm almost level 45 now and have all my transplan gear ready and i have enough favor for the tier 1 level 50 set and rings/necklace, so i'll be using instant adventure for the last 5 levels.

As said, twinking has ruined PVP leveling and it's a real shame.

Isn't the entire concept of a twink, though, just a dumbed down character? This argument that twinks are just characters who are trying to be the best they can be is so ridiculously invalid it's not even funny. If that were at all the case, they'd be level 50 and trying to get get BiS gear.

The cold hard fact is as Kaspurtz put it in one of his 39 mage videos: "I just want to make people cry."

If people want to stop at 1x/2x/3x/4x I say let them. If they want to stop at 50 and grind BiS gear, let them. It's a game, so play it how you like it. So NO, that isn't the case, as you are trying to say. BiS is a relative term.

You may have been hit 3x for 1800, it was not from 1 skill however (which was your original claim).

Considering P40's can 1 shot new 50s, the only difference is @ 50, you get the change to be in brackets designed to not include p40s. However those brackets dont weed out players with full HK gear that in relative terms makes them twinks compared to a new 50 (even if PvP level is the same).

Your exagerated accounts of low level PVP damage not withstanding, there is actually very little differnce between 50 and pre 50 PvP. Camping the other team happens at every bracket, as does undergeared players getting steam rolled by better geared ones.

The problems you identify with twinks are universal, and not limited to sub-50 PvP.

See I do know what the world pvp was, and ganking people at the gate was 85% of it. Now you just want to have rediculous statistical advantages and do it, as rift has rediculous gear gaps, largest I have seen in any game. I also like your pretense that games like ultima online did not have balancing patches and that people never got butt-hurt that their clearly overpowered set up was brought back in line.

How the hell am I supposed to play the game HOW I LIKE IT, PVP, when twinks do nothing but destroy the pvp-levelling path, and destroy the game, THE WAY I LIKE IT?

I am grinding Favor so i can get the good stuff as soon as I hit 50. That's a bit hard when all I see is a team full of 49 Clerics and Warriors running around decimating my team. I've been in so many warfronts where people just leave halfway through the warfront with the common quote, "twinks are bullscheisse". Which is, 100% true. This whole idea to lock EXP was Trion's worst idea they've ever come up with.

It was from 1 skill (it had been used 3 times in a row,) i never claimed that 1 skill was use once and hit for 3 times, i was only saying 1 skill had hit me for that damage 3 times in a row in a very short time (unfortuanly i guess it did read both ways ).

Sorry though, i don't think the twink issue is being exagerated at all (nor was the damage amount), but i'm someone who thinks that even level 50 PVP needs to seperate ranks into brackets (rank 1-20 - Rank 20-40) to comensate for gear advantage, but that's me.

Simple. Gear up(grind it like they do), enter WF's as competition instead of cannon fodder(say X5 +), and stop crying of the forums because you can't compete. Sure, but just because the likes of you that don't feel the need to gear and be competitive.

cus it's easier to get with xp off
normal players are leveling & aren't going to turn xp off to gear up & stay @ x9 to "pvp"
they would level out of the bracket farming that...
