    Snap's guide to hunting Defiants.
Defiants. Common animal seen mainly in contested and ennemies regions. Theses creatures usually move in a group of 5 in order to compensate for their lack of intelligence. A rare subspecie of Defiants known as the Looser can be seen rarely. Theses Loosers move in group of 2 or 3 and usually talk more then the common Defiants. Doing sounds such as "Noob", "Ur bad", "Insert insult here" and "Stop Ganking Insert insult here". An experimented hunter can travel throught Contested region without much trouble as the Defiants doesn't represent much of a threat. But be warn not to cross over hordes of Defiants during forest fires, earthquakes, tsunami and other natural major events. The Defiant can be compared to it's cousin the Casual Horde from the land of Azeroth. To efficiently hunt Defiants, a Guardian can simply group with another Guardian to improve chance of defeating a Defiant group by 239%. For those who looks for a challenge, try looking near Defiants pile of trashs known as Engineered Wardstones. Some Guardians report seeing lonely Defiants in the wild walking around with back arrow and turning with left and right arrow.
    Happy hunting!

I dunno, how is it not?

After all, the individual stats can still get better as you advance through t1, t2, t3 - just like the pvp sets, right?

so.... I think the OP has a point there...

Then I want to be Rank 8 right away without even trying if you can do HK in Tier 1 gear.

Well, you'll have the valor right from the start. So, again, kinda the same right?

You get 100% of the available set valor now with R1 gear, so you can get 100% of the available set toughness from t1 gear.

Fair. Not smart, mind you, but I think that's the OP's point.

Valor doesn't give you access to high rank PvP gear.

And why even talking about PvE content in PvP forums? PvE and PvP is a different game in every single ways.

Toughness--Defensive PvE stat. Works in PvE.
Valor--Defensive PvP stat. Works in PvP.
Vengeance--Offensive PvP stat. Works in PvP.
Hit/focus--Offensive PvE stat. Works in PvP?

You beat me to it. I was going to ask the OP about the last time they showed up to expert IT and found Lord Greenscale waiting for them in the first room...

    OP has a point.

Tho, for pve, i find it stupid that the only real requirement for progression is how much hit you have.

To get in? Yea. To contribute? You also need better stats and a good spec/rotation.

There are also stat requirements such as dex, int and wisdom.

In PvE the gear gets better stats and the monsters become stronger.

Your PvP monsters just fell into line a bit more, that's all.

It's quite unlikely that a raid fully hit/focus/toughness capped in T1 gear can actually do much of GSB/RoS, some of the DPS checks there while invisible to geared raids are pretty hard without gear (Johlen's bombs, Galenir's enrage, etc). It's equally unlikely that a raid in such T2 gear would be able to meet the DPS checks required to down even Murdantix, or that anyone even the tank would have enough HP to survive anything.

    Just saying.
