Pyromancers are twice as strong as champ/paragons were. Pyro's are now 1shotting people for 5.5 k crits if they are lucky. Also firing off firebolts for 1k which are insta nukes. Multiple insta nukes is the problem, coupled with huge crits.

Don't get me wrong, I love the challenge. Just don't understand why they couldn't just fix the champ/paragon without breaking Pyro's.
I see the exactly the same issues as WAR, now happening here. If I recall WAR was really tough to start with, then eventually every aspect got watered down, because every single whine was addressed.
Pyros were powerful before the buff. People were just too stupid to play it which is hilarious considering it's a faceroll spec and people were just unwilling to play it because they had dominator which was nerf.
Its GoS that's OP. The mitigation is ridiculous, and dispelling it is impossible.
They were thinking.
1) The mages in this game are getting **** on and two hit.
2) They were having trouble killing other than pyro.
Put those two together and they have to tone other things down and bring mages up.
Even if that meant temporarily making pyro a little op.
Atleast the game is no where near as bad as before, there's only a few reasons to cry right now, and them buffing mages is not one of them.
I got 99 problems and a mage ain't one.

TL;DR
Switching to a different profession is no different than starting a new role at 50, Easily learned. Might as well start at Rank 1 PvP on PvP servers.
Also, the tab targeting needs to be fixed with two things.
1.) It has no real selected cycle through the enemies in los, it goes randomly through them, it also prioritizes pets.
2.)It will sometimes tab through, say, 2 pets 6 times (meaning three rotations for two pets) while enemies that are players are in los, it will do this for player targets too (targeting is random with no kind of tab rythm/cycle/order to go through almost full teams of enemies in los). Give players numbers before their names depending on where they are located at in their raid, and let all people know and see these numbers, and tab cycles through those numbers in order to all enemies in range. Then pets if no players are in range.
3.)I also think minor obstructions that shouldn't, do play a role in who you can tab target, which adds up with the previous problems making it become complicated to target at times.

umm knowing that they have a guy that killed 1 mmo with balance issues definitely makes me a bit worried. i didn't play warhammer but i know it seemed to die pretty fast. >< that would def explain why this patch was so friggin hosed and pvp has an overabundance of cc abilities......

Pyros do need nerf, but at this time, i'm just trying to get major charge pots so i can plop on the reflective presence whenever it is needed at all times when it is recharged and try to ride this out.
I had two pyros and another mage shooting at me and probably could have killed all three, was reflecting most of their spells back at them, the warfront ended during that battle.
So pretty much if a pyro crits me for 8k and it gets reflected, he crits himself for 8k.

Oh yeah, pyros are fine my arse. Not only do they have ridiculous mitigation (I can't scratch them) but stun and dead before the stun from the second nuke wore off. Gotta love this ******ed balance.
Stunned the entire span of this which was about 3 seconds.

GoS is just a part of the larger problem. The issue is that GoS, when combined with the rest of the buffs the role received, makes Pyro as a whole extremely overpowered.
Couple that with the changes to facing mechanics and the way spell casts fire, and you have a serious cluster**** in need of immediate repairs.
