Healer is vague because every class can heal besides a warrior.
So how do we know which class is a pure waste of space PvP master.

Had that for the past two days. Guardians: 3-5 champ hybrids, 5+ warden healers.
Defiants in the lotham/faeblight/sunrest group are shy to make warriors and I don't know why. Maybe a serious underdog syndrome. Too many marksmen, rangers, melee rogues who think they have something to prove.

Warriors don't even need healers with their plate and high damage combinations. At least rogues dont have high armor, warriors get the best of both worlds, they are the paper/rock/scissors fest that fails this game. People are not complaining because they got beat by a couple good warriors that were skilled. They are complaining because even sloth ******s playing a warrior are beating people that have no problems stomping other classes. Lets make a game where class is everything and skill doesnt matter, and call it RIFT.

No, its not balanced 1v1.
Champions are a "glass cannon" Meaning they are powerful burst damage/cc on a long cooldown with no survivability. Yes we have plate, but how much does that help against a fireball? And even on melee its not THAT big of a damage reduction. AND we're melee. So were charging into the front lines normally to get focus fired and stunlocked, or snared and kited.
Champions die. ALOT. Just because they pop cooldowns and KITTENS you before dying 6 more times doesnt mean theyre OP.
The game isnt balanced around 1v1. The champs "gimmick" is great in a 1v1 or small battle enviroment but in a large scale battle against a enemy with great teamwork hes a non threat, CCable low-priority target.
Either learn to play, understand the GROUP MECHANICS, and understand that YOU WILL NOT SURVIVE AGAINST THE CHAMPS COOLDOWNS AKA GIMMICK AND YOU WILL DIE IF YOU LET HIM USE IT.
They dont need a nerf. No one needs a nerf. Theyve been balancing this game for months in beta. Its near perfect at the moment and only a few souls could use MINOR TWEAKING, neither buffs nor nerfs.
Mana drain is KITTENS ATM and needs a nerf. That is all.

Warrior riftblades are better than mages.
Warrior champions/void knights are better than rogues.
I agree with OP you only need warriors and healer clerics.

If the PvP is not balanced around 1vs1, then that is even MORE reason for the rogues to have much higher DPS and so on.
Because a rogue works well in 1vs1, but it doesn't have very much at all to offer in group PvP. Without high DPS and burst DPS, then the rogue is completely not able to do much.
To add to this, a melee rogue is especially underpowered. As you are constantly CC'd and easily killed in the group settings. You sit and talk about how "plate doesn't do much". Do you realize a rogue is a full 2 armor types below? A level 20 warrior has as much or more armor than a level 50 rogue. Who the hell do you think you are kidding that plate doesn't mean much?
On top of that, the warrior gets more hit points as well. And while they do not have shields, they do have parry.
And oh yeah, those fireballs hit us just as hard.
With a melee rogue, you have to deal with all the CC and still try and maintain melee range. This in itself can cut down the DPS quite a bit, especially since much of the burst is only available ONCE while other classes burst more on a regular basis. Yet, in the case of melee rogues, they have sometimes up to 40% less DPS. Unless you are playing a sab, then it's more like 20%.
So you take your pick. Either warriors are extremely overpowered, or rogues are extremely underpowered.
PvP ain't going to make it in this game unless they make some serious changes in the next 2 weeks. After the 2 weeks is up - they can expect an AoC future.
