Default I would love to see warfront statistics.

How many people on each side are queuing, win / loss ratios, how many of each class for winning and losing teams. I’ll bet you anything there’s a pattern. And it’s not just bad players and bad teamwork, although that’s a factor.

I’ll put money down right now that there is a higher percentage of a specific class on winning teams.

Now I’m not b*tching about class imbalance, I really don’t care, I play a mage and I’m happy doing so.

But I would find these statistics interesting.
Foxxy [Warrior], Foxy [Mage], Moiraine [Cleric]
    <Silent Epidemic> Estrael-Defiant. 100% Vent Free Guild.

I bet there would some eye opening data in there.

    I'm quite curious myself.

Let me guess, the people with the best PvP gear and prestige level continue to roll face since they started grinding pvp at 50 som 2 weeks ago. While veryone else who has other things to do lags behind.

    Great system.

You're a moron. Even if valor WAS working it would be negligible

So far , i think rolling guardian was a mistake, defiant was popular in beta, but its outnumbered on the majority of servers from what i have seen, and read.

Let me guess, you want to have the gear handed to you for doing less work because you have other things to do?

Or maybe we should PvP only when you do?

....If you fall behind in anything in a game; it's your fault. Deal with it.

A game is for fun. Nobody wants to play a game that is simply an exercise in frustration. In order to get better gear for PvP, you have to PvP, which means the guy who just got 50 is going to be fighting a guy that got 50 two weeks ago, rolling around in double-purple PvP epics. Forcing people who moved through levels slower (or later) to play a more frustrating game than the folks who took a week off of work to get 50 and grind favor isn't fun. The higher folks get no challenge, and the lower folks are forced to grind favor on losses to try to even the playing field.

"Deal with it" isn't a solution. Let the PvP game be about tactics and timing, not about who's gear is more purple. Maybe break the smaller level 50 warfronts into prestige level tiers. Maybe code things so if there is a massive prestige disparity that the lower ranks get the buff that lower level characters get in previous tiers.

Just because something sounds like whining doesn't mean it isn't a valid complaint.

This game is heavily gear depended which was well known even from betas. If you are looking for skillfull PvP regardless gear you shouldnt be looking into Rift.

Whatever the rate or speed of progression the game is allowing you to have you will always stay behind from players that play more than you and you will always stay ahead of the players that play less than you.
PPl are investing their time spend in an MMO. Rewards are gear etc.

You are not the only one under geared in a Warfront though. Both teams are likely to be consisted by under geared members. Well geared enemys hurt more its true but its nothing a bit of good team work cant fix.

What you are really saying, "Negate the rewards from extensive PvP and make everyone equal". What would be the point of climbing ranks or gearing if that fresh 50 is equal gear-wise to the player who lives in warfronts?

I played a warfront yesterday with 9 mages, and 1 Rog (me). We had 3 total healers as well..... and we just ***** it.

    Was wonderful.

The only other times I see we win alot when there over 75% of the same class playing. For some reason a team with all ranged...works, an sometime a team with all melee works.

Our server gets bugger all WF action, so yeah I'd like to see stats for queues at least. Because the thing that confuses me is that I've queued with guildies, and Guardians we know are also queuing - but we don't get a WF.

What I'd like to see from stats are how many queue on each side of a server, how long they wait, win percentages, and a little regression analysis on the souls in use to find out if the successful side tends to be the one with X Chloros in (for example).

    Default Rift is Gear Dependent.

If you play a game casually, you will not be equal to people that put in far more time and focus. That is the game of life. Slackers lose, Smart and Hard working wins.

In Rift, there are guilds that do nothing but grind dungeons for their members to make they all have the best gear - because that is what makes a win vs a loss, for two equally capable players.

Now, if you play less, casually, for fun. You get your rewards. If you don't play alot, but focus your time on getting gear you need, you will still be the same level as people and opponents around you - if they play more and level faster than you - you don't see them in warfronts, they move to the next bracket or the next pve zone.

So your competition in the game puts in the same amount of time you do, you just do it at a slower pace. Focus on the gear you want - it's posted everywhere, and equip yourself.

Skill and macros are also a factor. I've seen peoples gear in WFs and see them wearing crap greens dropped from boars, no jewelry or trinkets, just garbage, and wondering why they don't even have good quest gear. It's because they don't bother, they are farming favor or don't have a clue what they are doing and don't really care. Too bad they are on your team, macro less and dead in seconds.

TRION will have to implement other Warfronts only joinable if you have certain levels of faction standings to try and make it more fair, just because your the same level, does not make you equal, if your team mate Barney is too lazy to run a dungeon a few times to get better gear.
