All Classes: Best Dueling Soul Combo Discussion

Hi all,

I’m not going to tailor this thread towards specifically what I’m looking for, but rather make it an overall discussion on dueling souls/soul combos.

Let’s get a discussion going about the better dueling souls. Keep in mind this is for 1v1 PvP in situations where both players are prepared and ready for a fight.

Which Souls have the effective DPS and survivability to do well in dueling?

Which are too group-dependent and AoE focused to perform well in dueling?

If you have time, please include reasons/arguments as to why you feel the way you do.

Try to avoid picking a soul that is performing well in this arena mostly due to a broken ability that will most likely be fixed in the near future.

Sorry dont have time for a detailed reply but if you go warrior you can even 1v2 average players.
1v1 will not be a problem for %90 of encounters.
I can give the reasoning if needed, when i get back home.

I vote that a dom/pyro mage at end-game is a great dueling toon.

Champs are great duelling toons (you can build them in many ways, all good).

I am not sure how heals and healing reductions work but if you can manage it then a proper warden would be great ---> probably void knights, dom mages would still crush you. The rest depends on if you can heal through healing reduction of champ and if you can remove the NB poison fast enough.

Sabs can be a great dueling toon. I hear that bard can be a good dueling toon but i don't know how that works.

Yes. What he said. Yes. And i forgot that riftblade is actually a great duel toon as well. Warrior is a dev favorite though and so what do you expect.
