Aye let´s see the details of the new landscapes. And i doubt they will do mass changes to the Soul System as WoW did with its classes.

OMFG!! Alistair I beta'd panda land - they COMPLETELY destroyed the soul system - it doesn't exist anymore. They sell armour with stats now in panda land. It is so dumbed down, it's a tragedy. It's not the same WoW as when I started - it's in the toilet and that makes me sad - my poor toons

There is absolutely no way in Hell that Trion could do to Rift what Blizz did to wow unless they get rid of the soul systems, and dumb it down so you can kill anything with your eyes closed and one hand tied behind your back.

"Blizz did to wow" is a comparitive of "Trion could do to Rift" with "Trion" being in the Nominative case. So therefore, the 3rd person plural pronoun "they" is indicitive of the Nomitive case, i.e., Trion. Plus we all know that Trion uses a soul system and WoW used talent trees so maybe either:

1) English isn't your mother tongue or you really aren't very proficient in it

No, I am very much an English speaker. That last bit wasn't what confused me.

What confused me was you were putting "panda land" and "souls" in the same sentence making me think you were talking about Mists of Pandaria having a soul system. Or if you were pointing out that WoW doesn't have any sort of really in-depth soul system like Rift does. Or if you were calling the new expansion continents for Storm Legion "panda land" in an attempt to jokingly say that Storm Legion will be like MoP. Or if you meant they removed the talent trees in MoP to where the only difference with a class is the stats on their armor.

Soul system never existed I WOW so not sure how they destroyed it. From what. I've seen lately from Trion they seem to be destroying RIFT as well. I guess we'll have to wait for the expansion. RIFT feels as grindy as WOW lately and not very stable

Anyway... laughing hard at that. Looks like they really gutted the system. If I'm reading it right, they're only giving a single talent point in intervals of 15 levels...? What the flux. It sounds like they're further killing the ability to really diversify and instead you're stuck going one of three different paths. . . That's really silly. Even though I never really mixed talent trees too deeply, that... just doesn't make sense to me. Only logical conclusion really is that they're dumbing it down so much because they can more easily balance stuff with this in place.

Inflated prices? Those are fairly standard prices for expansions. If Storm Legion isn't free, I'd be willing to bet that the standard version will be $39.99 or $49.99 depending on the games overall size.

Except Trion will also be including the original Rift with the Expansion, so the complete game. know Blizzard have various "Warchests" and stuff but you still need to buy the previous Expansions separate

Also, i think there will be a deal with SL if you already have the original game

What bugs me is Trion putting less effort into what is currently on the live servers... releasing buggy content, and then failing to fix it effectively. They have a lot of the team working on Storm Legion, obviously... but they shouldn't take their eye off the game at present

I'm fairly sure that SL will be a similar price to this... and I hope it's awesome. Also... I'm thinking it means SL will release end of October

They're dumbing it down so that ANYONE can play requiring no brain power whatsoever. Sad but true. Now I go out of my way to find games that require brain power where you can't learn it in 5 min. Jade Dynasty and Forsaken World I'm still scratching my head, after playing them for a week, as there is a million and one things to actually know in these games.

Definately. The only time that I know you get a free or drastically reduced price in an xpan would be a combo deal where you agree to an annual or semi annual sub. No free lunches and why should they?? They're giving us great content and the least we should do is support their efforts. They DON'T HAVE TO pump out content as often as they do but they do. THAT should tell you something about them as a company.

I've seen some of the "Blizz-ified" mounts and how they've mangled trandition. Only one that looks decent is the Heart of the Aspects - golden dragon flying mount that actually looks decent.

OH please don't get me started with that argh!!! They COMPLETELY destroyed what could've been a great game - nerf, Nerf, NErf, NERf, NERF!!! No more. I'll just wait until more appropriate "venues" are made available to play that game like it should be played and not with the blizzard garbage putting their hands where they don't belong.
